  • Excellent vid series for a newbie reloader (esp. on the D550)! Thanks. One small request, if you can. Unfortunately, as luck would have it, I seem to have the worst combo is the reloading universe... a stock Glock in .40 SW. I'd love to see a vid addressing the nuances of handloading this combo. Thanks again...your instruction is invaluable esp the tuning of dies and out of the box press installation/mounting.

  • Will this press work with any brand of dies?

  • Hot tight is the collar screw, would help showing a side view of the collar.

    Great video

  • I'm not trying to be a smart-a&& but a "lock washer" is different from a "jam nut."

    Great video.

  • is this basicley the same thing for the sdb

  • Oh yeah that's why it's not moving the powder bar properly

  • At 6:45 when you install the powder measure failsafe rod, why do you install it the wrong way?

It should be inserted from the back when you look at the exploded view in the manual?

  • got a new 550b for christmas real easy too use makes reloading fun

  • I too enjoyed the video's you've put together. I was wondering what brand of Dies you are using in the video's?

  • I really enjoyed your videos. I'm considering a progressive press and I think you've made up my mind for me. I don't know whether this comment has already been made, but I replaced my beam scale with an electronic scale and find it much more convenient.

  • I don't think I would even attempt to put thing thing together unless I had your video running and was pausing it every step of the way. Much Thanks.

  • can you reload shotguns with this too

  • Sorry, metallic cases only, however, you can use a Dillon SL900 to reload Shotshells

  • take a look at the lee classic turret press. it bridges the gap between a good progressive and a single stage setup.

  • does handloading save money?

  • Depends on what you're reloading and what components you're using. (Price of bullets or powder and whether you buy new or reuse your brass.) I can handload a box of 124gr FMJ 9mm for about $6 verses $10-$15 in a store.

  • does the Dillon powder measure function with Lee dies?

  • Sure does!

  • @mashoutman No it doesnt!

  • I'm new to reloading and have placed an RX 650 on order wth Dillon. After watching your video I know that buying a reloader to offset the high price of ammo was the right decision. Your video removed any hesitation that I might have had. Well done!!
