Damn, I've heard of emulating one's heroes, but Chris Benoit really was a carbon copy of the Dynamite Kid. Everything from the selling to the offense!
Wow, before they were dubbed 'The Hart Foundation' apparently. I miss those days. Each match was 20+ minutes (usually) and a tag team match was just as exciting and important as a heavyweight champion match
@ statlerbrotherfan -- Dynamite Kid (Tom Billington) -- was married to Bret's wife's (Julie's) sister. Neidhart was married to Bret's sister -- Ellie. Davey Boy Smith was married to Bret's sister -- Diana. Natalya Neidhart is the Jim Neidhart's daughter. David Hart Smith (Harry Smith) is the Bulldog's son.
@statlerbrotherfan Dynamite was at one time married to Bret's ex-wife's sister, Michelle. While he wasn't legally related to the Hart family, with his history in Stampede wrestling, he was always treated as one of the family. So I've read...
Im so glad there are guys like you to post stuff like this. I was only 2 when this match happened, and im unable to access ROH, Dragongate etc. (the only promotions to have quality matches these days) so I have to make do with great matches from old WWF and Japan. Thanks again, and keep it up please!
never seen this one before, thanks. now to all you little bitches argueing with each other, shut the hell up! Damn watch the match and goe to bed, kids
@BiscuitsMcGillicuddy Not just a mark but an independent wrestler, we are the worst kind of marks, you know the ones that wrestle in front of crowds for money instead of just watching on Youtube. You sure tagged me man, ow.

I agree that there are still good workers, but it still seems that Vince would push a guy wiht a great look rather than a guy that is great in the ring. 3 of the 4 i n the ring here were great workers while none of them were particularily great on the mic. Bret eventually became competent in his mic skills, but never great.
Oh how I wish we had tag teams of this calibre still. Hart Foundation were great, but the Bulldogs were amazing.
I think I was a bit of an anomaly When I was a kid I tended to like guys that were good workers regardless of whether they were a face or a heel. I have ALWAYS disliked Hogan, while I have liked Bret & Flair regardless. I LOVED Dynamite Kid. The only guys I can think of that I liked hat were not exactly great in ring workers were the Road Warriors & ehem the Ulimate Warrior.
they call fans like u smarks, smart marks. they should just entertain us like they used to and it would be fine. the classic 'cheese' is missing today...

As I watch this video, I wonder why Vince didn't give the Bolsheviks a better run at the title.

what a great match, talented guys especially bret and dynamite. Too bad dynamite was such a terrible, terrible person in real life. RIP Davey Boy.

One hour time limit. I do wonder how these two great tag-teams would do in a 60-minute match.

TNO73 there are or could be tag teams of this potential in the current WWE. Unfortunately, they never take time to develope a teams.
