i live and work here in korea as a musician and let me tell you these kids are absolutely right about kpop and some of its flaws. non-koreans who say they love kpop are not looking beyond its shiny polished surface which is fine, but i've seen what goes on behind the scenes here in korea so let me tell you some truths: 1. kpop is made for koreans 2. they sing english lyrics only to impress+profit from a global market 3. they copy american pop music+culture 4. looks come first, music comes last
