You bet. My parents had a hippie streak, but only in the getting-back-to nature sense, not the political stuff. They grew a lot of their own food at one point.

We (the kids) ran around naked, drinking unpasteurized milk, had no video games, very little TV, were not spoiled with material stuff. Mom put wheat germ in everything. lol. They were musically inclined with a wacky sense of humor.

But I didn't fully appreciate their efforts until much later.
