  • Windows 7 firewall is great, but I would definitely recommend running this alongside Comodo firewall with Defense + (dont install the antivirus part)

  • no dont search it go to microsft.com there is a fake mse out there be aware:)

  • I have MSE + Avira premium , and they work excellent togheter. Great reviews , you get my subscribe!

  • @gmoiasovghb87fa thanks but you shouldnt use both avira and mse together

  • @TheBuckbull Hmm , I don't have any problem. The guy who installed my Windows , said is ok..

  • @gmoiasovghb87fa Best you use 3 ore more together than you are really safe . Or even better by a dog .

  • mse is garbage but good test though if you want a free antivirus go for avast or avira

  • Why don't people ever put the download link? :/

  • @comandermalander456 just go to google and type in mse

  • @TheBuckbull nvm, i just realized my mse is the same

  • Does MSE 2.0 have any self-protection features against unwandted manipulations?

  • your friend tested mse, and it failed really bad for him

  • Test out SandBoxie!!!! Let me see itz POWER! ;)

  • Modification of the hosts file is a SERIOUS breech. A major major major fail of the behavior blocker!! How could you gloss over that one?? Also would have been nice to see what the mod was as it might just have been a NPE foobar. Ya think?

  • Dawn now that i see the Video Clearly That's Exactly like the Virus, Dawnn, hahahaha

  • i had mse and all i can say comodo is the best FREE AV .....

  • @IxShadowIx Lol, him and Kevinrocket came back, but ryansendbergfan23 gone :-(

  • Great to see you back!! Nice review, MSE is great.

  • @pctipsandkeys ye me too thanks!

  • @TheBuckbull perfect protection = defense wall hips along with mse 2 .You can also use norton safe web lite and Norton dns(freeware). This is my security configuration so far. btw gr8 review keep it up.

  • It was very good to see MSE did a very good job in your test! MSE just did not detect a rogue but detected all the malwares was exposed of. MSE has to reduce RAM memory usage up to 20 MB as you sad. I hope Microsoft do that for next versions of MSE. It was a great review! It is very good to see you back with your excellent videos reviews! Thanks a lot!

  • @victorh2007 Thanks a lot for your comment and watching! yes if mse could reduce its ram usage it would be a very good antivirus especially for free. it could improve detection against rogues a bit better as you said. no problem any time!

  • @TheBuckbull is microsoft security essentials better than avast free antivirus?

  • Nice to see you're back, and as always good Review/testing. And anyway even if it's a bit late, happy new year.

    Best Regards

  • @SuperHusher thanks a lot you too!

  • its sucks up my pc, because its conflict with comodo internet security 5 without comodo antivirus installed.

  • Yay finally a new video happy new year

  • @OcloOppo you too man

  • Good test! I have a 2GB, Windows 7 Home Premium laptop, and while MSE 2.0 may not be "light" (it's far from heavy) it is lightning quick on my machine. I can't even tell it's installed. Web browsing, and everyday tasks are snappy........I do notice a little long boot and shut down time, but oh well! Thanks again!

  • @ThunderStruckCoach thanks a lot! yea it doesn't affect too much the performance but still i would like to see lower ram usage.

  • @IxShadowIx yup me too and thanks man for watching. yes its heavy

  • thanks buckbull.

hope you had a good xmas.

    happy new year to you.

  • @MrArnold1972 no problem. i hope you had a good xmas and new year as well. thanks a lot for watching.

  • Nice

  • btw great review buck! :)

  • @lnternetSurfer thanks for watching

  • mse sucks... it slows down my computer and the detection is not very good

  • I guess Microcrap expects everyone these days to be upgrading there RAM so spending time making it lighter is not a main concern. Anyways good to see another video it certainly looks like they've made cleaning alot faster.

  • @MrXidus

well,im running xp on a 1gb and dualcore,on my virtual machine and its not cleaning that fast,i tested with eicar.

  • @MrXidus

  • @linuxpowerification 1GB? Exactly why before I got my new PC with 4GB ram and Quad Core I had only 1GB and any virtual machine was slow, Because 1GB simply ain't enough.

  • @MrXidus

its windows xp,its more than enough, but i can put 4gb with my desktop,i will try it.

  • @MrXidus exactly anyway thanks for watching man

  • how is it cleaning so fast? i have tested it and its fucking slow.

  • using mse and threatfire along with comodo firewall is a beast and of course the bad guys cant beat.

  • is mse 2 better than adware free 9 in terms of detection and ease of use ?

  • @stormrise86

    yes,much better
