Because a lot of people watch his show. Youtube pays a lot of the popular talent they have. Like Mr. ChiCity and RayWilliamJohnson, and countless others for that matter. I may have exaggerated a bit by the "making a living" part, but they do make a fair deal of money for just expressing their opinions and being popular online. I think at one point Mr. Chi City made 5 grand off one of his videos, just doing what Chi does, being himself.
