@WREYutube, I'm going to get my two nieces (they're going to be 15 months old this august 30th) Into watching their first Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2011, and I'm going to point out all the floats and balloons to them too.
@DimeraFan28 I never get tired of it... even though it has become somewhat cliche in presentation, especially since CBS started airing a nearly carbon copy effort instead of samples from different parades around the country... :)
@DimeraFan28 It WILL be better than last year, as every Macy's parade is better than the last. Especially because "The Muppets" will be in theaters the day before which might prompt a guest appearance or even a float!!!
By this point, I had completely given up on watching the parade because, as I taught myself, the parade is the longest three hours on television each year. Now, as a means to pass the time on Thanksgiving Morning between 9AM and the Lions game, I play XBOX.
i can't wait for the parade this year! 3 days left! roker, viera, and lower! i wonder what balloons are gonna be featured! i miss katie on the parade! i saw that thing on 2004! freakin' awesome!
Do you have any idea what the song is called that's playing after they say "lets have a parade"? I'd love to know :)
