@don4njo Nope, that was wheel spin.Broke traction when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. It actually had a brand new Exedy stage 1 clutch and Fidanza flywheel about 2 months before this video.

Nice Lude. My bro has got the SOHC non-VTEC (BB9), and it's already a very nice car to drive, comfortable enough (not slammed to the ground, though) and with 70 extra horses, the VTEC version is powerful enough for any situation you might encounter with a daily driver for sure.

also look at the vtec V6 NSX its a v6 only and it puts out 290 HP, and its far less weight then a mustang or any performance car ford has ever released. and that car is old as fuck mind you.

maybe the new GT, but considering this engine was built over a decade ago and as a 4 cyl put out 200 HP is pretty impressive. And whats wrong with HP per liter? Whats a v8 GT mustang like a 4.0? and only 300 hp? thats horrible multiply the numbers if a 2.2l 4cyl puts out 200 hp add on 4 more pistons to give is 400 HP then make the liters large to even a 3.6 or something and your set.

Sorry but American muscle is actually bad why else would ford almost go Bankrupt.

Nah, its just funny how "muscle" cars that have v6's and v8's are barely putting over 200 HP while a 4 cylinder is putting out 200 hp base. the GT put out like 260...thats horrible for a v8. If Honda ever went into the business of making fast v6's and v8's im sorry to say but ford and Chevy would both be fucked hard.

@Fonzie8819 That's about the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Your comparing a 200hp(-/+) I4 @ 7,000rpms to 300hp(-/+) v8 at 5,500 rpms. If you do the math your 200hp I4 will only do 157hp @ 5,500 rpms. obviously being in the same range as a V8, not including torque and compression. Now I'm not going to discriminate, I think it would be beneficial if foreign manufacturers started producing V8's, even though they already do, hence Honda farm tractors....More designers means more possibilities.

Yeah. I saw one guy built a mid-engined Integra by simply moving the engine, front axle and transmission all to the rear, the engine itself was inside the hatch. I want to do a project like that on a Prelude when I have enough money. I'll bet it'll handle crazy good.

yea it for sure will if you do it right. i wouldnt recommend it unless you plan on doing something fairly major to the engine. with only 200hp FWD handles the power just fine.

lol, obviously was not a VTEC one. They are not all VTEC you know, infact most UK models are'nt. The 2.0ltr 135bhp version is the most common, and a VTS would probably beat one, but not even close to a 2.2 VTEC 200bhp.

That's a huge question.  Drive both if you can and keep the one ya like. I'd definitely try to find a Prelude with an H22 and/or an Integra/RSX GS-R (or if you're really lucky, a Type R).

Yes granted, srt-4 is the fastest car in its category but its shit reliable, and it handles like a buick. On the other hand you can get an upper six second car that handles great, and, its a honda, only thing more reliable than a honda is toyota, and not by much.

It's a Vibrant Performance TPV exhaust. Got it from Verocious Motorsports, but it's also on eBay. They do it for most Honda's.

Hey man, mine is a European Prelude. It's a VTi with H22A8 engine. But yea, go for the SH if you want ATTS, if not, get a Base model.

Preludes are slow. I used to have a 99 prelude, with many mods. got to run 15.1 sec. on quarter mile. Now i own Integra Ls/vtec I run 13.9 all motor. Just think before buying.
