Stupid on both sides, but more on the Viper.

But if a GMC SUV can pass you going uphill with an easy 20+ mph difference you're going TOO SLOW. And trying to race uphill while tailgating the guy in front of you, you're just begging to nail somebody he passes.

I'd wager on a nice, sweet settlement though... the repairs to the Viper could probably buy that beater of a toyota that can't climb a hill five times over. That's not even including the personal injury suit soon to follow.

From the video you cannot tell the speed limit of the area. Generally speaking it seems 50mph would likely be close to the speed limit. From what I can see, the overcompensating Viper driver was following far too close for his speed and generally driving with disregard for other drivers on the road. Just because a car is being passed by everyone doesn't mean they were going too slow. I have on many occasions been passed by people while doing the speed limit. Slow the fuck down and enjoy the ride

That guy was getting passed by everyone. The Viper driver wasn't smart driving at those speeds, but the Toyota driver was looking backwards waiting to get hit by just about anyone. Jackasses...
