I am probly going to start posting speed run videos eventually. I plan to do a 12% run. Don't know how long of a time, but hopefully under 20 minutes.
huh. I never thought of doing that after getting my life drained since I'd get it refilled a few seconds later (and keep my ammo, which I dearly love). Not to sound rude or anything like that, but was there a real point to this or was it just a quick "hey, I have an idea, and it won't take that long to make, so why not?" kind of video? I know I've had my share of those.
If ya'll are doing tool assisted speed runs, below 20 is probably possible.
I used to beat "Straight up" this on the SNES with 4 energy tanks in about 29 minutes.

If you say a sub-20 minute run is possible, then it's definitely worth the wait to see it happen.

I guess it would save time on healing, so it probably could be used as a speed-run trick.

Yeah, that's certainly true. I'd estimate around 10-15 seconds of time saving.
