  • haha at 1:16 when i was hatfield last year i wrecked my dirtbike in something just like that and my bike locked up and we had to bump start it and i couldnt go out of 2nd it took forever to get back. oh fun times at hatfield always an adventure when me and my buddies go!

  • you can ride the roads as long as you have proper safety gear on and have hatfield mccoy trail pass on helmet and are following rules of road like a car. I called yesterday about our upcoming trip and that's what's they said's lol

  • ATVs on the road down here are a form of transportation for the locals......

  • so, are ATVs permited on roads in WV if they are Registered & insured?

  • It depends on where you are. In Matewan, you can ride the blacktop as long as you follow the rules of the road, helmet, boots etc. The enforcement is based on behavior, not sure about the reg. and ins. but like I said, enforcement is based on behavior. Many of the towns if not all of the towns that are part of the Hatfield McCoy trails are ATV friendly.

  • thank you, i live in NJ where if it isn't registered & insured then the police will take it. It sucks & costs a fortune

  • I live in NY, I know all about it. Two of my partners live in NJ as well. Matewan WV rules, try it sometime!!

  • what do you think is the best trails for atv`s?

  • going to ride them this summer

  • where is this?

  • Hatfield McCoy trails in Matewan West Virginia.

  • k thanks

  • The real good one that we have on video is right nesr where 12 and 42 meet up near Williamson, if I remember correctly. There are good mud runs right when you enter the trails from Matewan too. Trail 39 (Black) has some also, as well as the blue trails. Most of them are along side the main trails, you just have to keep an eye out for them.

  • Where are these mudholes at are they on the black trails the most diffcult ones.Because i rode most of the green ones and ther were no mudholes.

  • on top of buffalo mountain once u cross the 52at the top there r some huge 1s....up on top there was a spot where it was about 4feet deep
