Wow! This is incredible! Just made some tonight for dinner. I changed the tweaked the recipe a bit though and sprinkled Mrs. Dash Original seasoning before popping it in the oven. Added a little salt and pepper after it was done and skipped the lemon. I would have never thought to roast broccoli though so I thank you for making the video!

This is how Americans should be eating. Unfortunately, they are eating at McDonalds too often, eating junk food, not vegetables and not exercising. No wonder heart attacks and cancer are #1 and #2 causes of early death.
Did you drizzle olive oil on the baking sheet before it went into the oven? The parchment paper looked wet BEFORE you put the broccoli on it. Thanks :)
I know it looks like to much salt but it really isn't. I use kosher sea salt. It isn't very salty tasting. It actually has a sorta sweet taste and it does take a bit more than the bitter tasting table salt most people use.
Ok just made this for my lunch.....really good...I did add fresh grated ginger, and a little lime . really good...and had a side order of beets aswell with the same....yum yum....
I made this tonight for supper and it was so good! My Turk told me at least a dozen times how good it was, and he doesn't even like broccoli! Thanks Marjie!

nsakic 2 years ago
I doubt there is much lost but I do add organic olive oil so it just might have more. I made this tonight, it was fantastic. The stems are the best.
macomarell 2 years ago
@nsakic not alot better than steaming it where all the nutrients are lost and go into the water the water has more nutrients than the broccoli
