no back story so im just gona guess that the boy and his village are friends tword dragons and when village is attacked boy manages to escape but a raider chases him so boy runs close to dragon nest to alert dragon friends to the trouble dragoness comes to help the boy while the other dragon (not shown what he does) goes to help village dragon family lets boy stay at nest untill it is safe to return home. (again just a complete guess on backstory but thats the story i got from video)

Why is it that in every movie or tv show with dragons in the the dragon always eats humans?

examples: Shrek: Donkeys dragon eats lord farquad

Some show with some boy learning karate or kung fu: Boy's master gets eaten by a dragon.

@Aleitheo no one has proven that dragons didn't exist, and no one has proven they did exist. Theres to many places on this planet that we have not explored that could hold dragons. The ocean, the Amazon and the Himalayas (hope i spelled that right) are some places.
