This movie was a good movie, but very depressing. This movie actually traumatized me, lol, it really makes you look at things differently in a relationship, at least for me, just shows the reality of how relationships can go so wrong so fast. How someone can fall out of love in a blink of an eye. I recommend to watch it, but not on Valentine's Day! Too depressing.

It’s sad the way that two people who were once in love end up taking chunks out of each other. Watch the way he ties her up with his overtly analytical lectures, and how he has given up on any real pretence of romance. The scene where she runs from the car and just can’t breathe is really tragic! However, watch how she growns cold towards him, and how she withdraws her love on purpose to hurt him. I think both started in Love and it burnt out quick and then they just resented each other.
This is honestly one of the best trailers I've ever seen. It sets the rijght mood and tone. Whatever company ut this together deserves recognition. This truly embodies the film. I'm sure Gosling just fell short of an Oscar nomination for this film. Wonderful art.

I don't think very many of the commenters here understood the evolution of these characters in the film. This film is a brilliant commentary on "woman wants man to change throughout the course of a relationship but man stays the same, while man wants woman to stay the same, but she end up changing, mainly on account of his inability to change." It's a self-fulfilling prophecy, and I think that was what the writer-director was trying to touch on with this film.

Just finished watching this movie and all that stuck with me was how bad Ryan Gossling & Michelle's dad aged in this movie. From the beginning of their relationship to the present I take it that no more than 5 yrs. had to of past, because the little girl was about 4-5 yrs old.

@nataliiabaybiie thats your opinion. i think its a very clever trailer. post trailers nowadays show the entire movie in just 2 minutes. their best scenes, the funniest lines just to get people to go out and see their film and most of the time after i always hear "it sucked" this trailer doesnt give too much away. just the fact that its a love story. and thats what makes me want to see it more. to know what this love story is about. its mysterious :)

This movie really made me question is there any such thing as true love when things can always start out so great and end up like they do. A month later when I arrived home by boyfriend of 3 years had cheated on me :/ The movie put the question out there and he answered it for me ...

Just finished watching this movie and all that stuck with me was how bad Ryan Gossling & Michelle's dad aged in this movie. From the beginning of their relationship to the present I take it that no more than 5 yrs. had to of past, because the little girl was about 4-5 yrs old.

The animations was a bit weak at parts but i think it was supposed to be that way. Great directing and cinematography . The only complaint would be some weak dialog but otherwise, 4 stars. Find it at fillmsi.co.cc and enjoy.
