@DrFubarProzak Good point. But that theme song is most commonly used for ABC stations, especially big-city ABC stations on channel 7 (I know KGO in San Francisco has used this theme [but a different cut] since 2006), except WLS in Chicago (using News Series 2000 Plus, also by Frank Gari).

WABC always put together the best intros, not the best news (that'd be wnbc) but always the best graphics/music packages and solid looking sets.
