What a couple of great players. They could echo each other. I am glad that Stephane had a long life and was able to pass the sound on after we lost Django so young. Stephane and Larry Carlton could really play togrether.
@bozedomova - I just created a Django playlist tonight, I'd never heard of him before today. I've got 300 artists playlisted and django suddenly is in my top 5 favorites! I've also playlisted each of the past 120 years with the help of e-rex!
You can listen to the great sounds, like Django, of any past year as if you've taken a trip back in time!!
@hasslehoffme django is. he may have only two fingers on one hand, but he had a secret third and fourth arm. haha thats the only logical explaination i have for his unworldly talent
@petrie1230 - He actually had all five fingers on both hands, but the ring finger and pinky on his left hand were disabled by a fire when he was 18. He spent two years teaching himself to play around this "handicap." He could use those fingers in chording but not for soloing, and he played his amazing solos with just the first two fingers. Check out the J'attendrai video to see how he did it. The technique he developed had a tremendous influence on his sound.
@fatbowe I'm on my phone so idk if it did tag you but I totally with you bro :P

Django and Stephane pair so well together. They were both virtuosos of their instruments. Perfect!
