In a word spy got 3 situations : -Undercover thus meaning the spy is clear for stabbing

-Half danger where a few classes are spychecking but not yet seen you

-Spotted where you must run or die if you force attack

Disguise kit plays a role in there (where no tutorials talks of) : the class and weapon of disguise increase or decrease the time you will be undercovered (for example a sniper can't just be near his teamates armed with a kukri on the front and etc)

i dont reccomend using the cloak and dagger unless you're playing on orange maps. the normal cloak is better on pretty much any map besides orange.

@ChunderThunder1 the cloak and dagger runs out extremely fast while running and it cant be refilled by ammo. and if you are standing still half of the time, the match will be over before you even stabbed someone. its good for camping on orange though. beginners tend to like this cloak too.

last edvice was fail i got into a full sniper "fort" and killed all as discised as sniper dah i camped near one of the snipers and "aiming" at my base then as soon as he saw that i will gard and no one was behind me i did a 5 kill strike (or 7 i don't remember but there was an engineer with lvl 3 sentry there too)

Your work against engineers is sloppy. Stabbing-and-sapping can be done within a split-second of each other.

In your example of "sap when engineers don't attack" that was a very doable stab sap. You can stab people by crouching on their heads stabbing and whipping out the sapper very quickly (whether you use "Q" for last weapon or fast-switch on the mousewheel).

Engineers who crouch like that are simply lazy and are not really aware of what's going on.

when you die 12 times from them being paranoid pyro YOUR STILL LIVING its what i use and i usually get around 15 backstabs each life but basicly do same thing here only STAB; THEN SAP WHEN ENGIE IS NEAR SENTRY GUN.
