  • Heroes honor!

  • heroes

  • id u dislike this video ill persinay shove a piece of uranium 232 up ur ass

  • you must translate that in french! french people must know because we have 58 plant!

  • This is insane, sending people into a hell. These are true heroes, the bravest the most fantastic ones, but actually risking their lives and sending them to the "epicenter" is sick.

  • So brave !

  • Why did they only have to clean up the roof? what about the ground?

  • @leangle1988 There were guys in lead-shielded bulldozers on the ground pushing the debris into giant pits. The problem was that there was too much debris on the roof to safely build the protective concrete sarcophagus around the reactor. . . so they needed to push the debris onto the ground where the bulldozers could bury them. They tried robots. They broke down. . . so Russia did what they do when all else fails. They turned to their men.

  • @themocaw Robots are affected by radiation too? really?

  • Close to half of the Biorobots had recieved so much radiation, they collapsed where they stood. The sad thing is, the others were told to push the bodies off the roof...Most were still alive.

  • @xxthecoleman1xx

how did you know that ???

  • @BluEN1111 A friend of mine knows someone who worked to clean up the explosion's aftermath.

  • @xxthecoleman1xx Fucking hell, where did you read that?

  • @bronzeonion It comes from a friend who worked there and survived.

  • @xxthecoleman1xx Bloody shocking

  • cleaning all part reactor like being in war!

  • One guys fk up ruined.thousands of young lives. Im a nuke worker, but i would never live around a nuke plant. Most cut corners, are careless, will do anything to save a buck, and are regulated by the NRC which was proven has been real lenient towards these plants to save the plant money. Watching these guys go in is sad...

  • This is the stuff of nightmares!

  • please upload part 3 !

  • This is how you respond to Nuclear crises as if it's war. Wake up Japan you cannot trust your future to a private company like Tepco.

  • hell yeah, they got a cool hundred bucks out of the deal and a certificate. good deal.

  • @thegoodrevtim They got no compensation.

  • @DrHooty911 Not familiar with sarcasm, eh?

  • Having radiation sicknes is one of the most horrible ways to die, at first you feel sick, then you feel alright, that stage is called "the walking ghost" because a view days later you start getting burns all over your body, your skin, intestines everything falls apart, you start coughing up blood etc. But the worst part is, your family and friends can't sit by your side and hold your hand.. well, they can but if they do they will get ill to because of the radiation you now send out..

  • @xMendy22 Wrong, if someone has radiation poisoning and has removed the radioactivity from tier skin and clothes another person cannot get it.But still, a horrible way to die.

  • Russian and UKRANIAN

  • Is the wind you hear in the background on some clips from the roof?

  • Comment removed

  • wow, those are amazing men. heros. and this looks like an amazing documentary. does anybody know the name of it? I'd like to look it up, and watch the entire thing.

  • @travpoet Its called The Battle of Chernobyl.

  • R.I.P and Thank You, we will never forget you

  • ... i'm speechless

  • The broken prisms with a hole inside you can see on the floor at 2:28 are reactor core elements, insanely radiactive.

  • The broken prisms with a hole inside you can see on the floor are reactor core elements, insanely radiactive.

  • "it was like being in another planet"

Now we found a job for junkies!

  • There is no way they did not know what risks they had. They are truly men of honor. It had to be done by someone, and they chose to be that someone.

  • @pigjubby The liquidators were all army reservists and soldiers, so a part of them didn't want to go, but many saw it as their duty. The world is always saved by just ordinary people, and this incident confirms it.

  • @pigjubby yeah it was a suicide mission these men were under no illusions

  • These Biorobots are true heroes. I cannot believe that I haven't heard of them before. They are such amazing people and we all owe them a big thankyou for making sure that the disaster has never gotten even worse.

Thankyou to all of the Biorobots

  • @heathey2 you probably did. the biorobots is another name for the liquidators

  • I mean weren't

  • If they wasn't there to do it who will?

  • Just to think, there are Crazies still living on the Outskirts of Chernobyl today.

  • Army??? Seems more like a job for prisoners to do

  • @neil7025 does it really has a difference?

  • someone must do that, there was no way out! In this situation, none of us hesitate to do that!

  • @MacTavishSAS what do you mean "none of US" ?

  • these people were sent to meet their destiny, way too early.

  • what if that happened in USA? I doubt they can make the same progress as effective as old SU did. Why is that? I believe everyone know that. For those of u who dont, please turn on your tv and see what is happening in Gulf Mexico.

  • @answer223 Yes, they made so much progress in all areas of life that they are still here on top of the world...:D........you fool...re read what you wrote and think about what you write before putting it on here. My mother and father lived in the SU...you have NO idea what in the hell you are talking about...fool!!!

  • @answer223 the US would apply technology not people.

  • @hzcenick Except all the Technology is Destroyed by the radiation.

They used Western and Eastern robots ... And all of them went down.

  • @IxXMephistoXxI STR-1 was build after all foreign robots fail this robot has prove his reability the russian engineers build this robot for 5 days and to contain the problem for this 5 days there given human lives and they are not biorobots they are heros

  • @hzcenick

think again - there would be insane amounts of debris to remove. Somebody would have to remove it quickly, and no stupid robots will work

  • good old communism ;) , the yanks working on the non radioactive 911 heap of junk are now filing law suits. these guys in Russia know what it means to work for the good of the many. TRUE HEROES

  • @seangsxr34 communism is shit, it's one of the worst systems made by people

  • @seangsxr34 That is because we can (bring lawsuits) you idiot........you did not have any rights in the SU...if you had so much opened your mouth and complained...your entire family was punished for it!! You have no idea what you write and the implications of what you are saying! Study history and educate yourself before writing such foolish statements.
