This is the best Ordos. All that cybernetics crap in the later versions is only awkward and unfitting. And cliché in a scifi setting. At least they didn't add some kind of organic house using biological vehicles and weapons.

I think Dune Emperor does have a faction that uses organic weapons.

I like Ordos. Fast harvesters. Deviators when used properly can be very dangerous (Devastators too slow). Lack of launchers can be compensated with CHOAM. Saboteurs seems to have on and off ability to stop enemy reconstruction of buildings.

And none of that Atreides self-righteousness.

I think the ending can be interpreted as the Ordos will keep the emperor alive and on his throne but he will be nothing more than a mere puppet ruler and the Ordos will be pulling his string.

Fits perfectly with the Ordos deceitful nature. XD

I played this game for the first time when I was 4 or 5. Being so little and unexperienced, I thought the Ordos' campaign was impossible. No Rocket Launchers, game-crashing Saboteurs...

... then I discovered two wonders : Deviators and Starports.

I beat Atreides, Hark, and then Ordos, and the Emperor's fate suited my progression.

First, I put him on trial. Then, it gets better ; I send him into oblivion. Finally, I make him my pawn.

And fluorescent grass-covered Arrakis looks cool.

they should remake the series but with 4 houses. In all the remakes, its always atreides, harkonnen, and ordos. Why not have the emperor as a selectable house? In the endings, it always the emperor getting punished.
