  • Prettiest woman in the history of pop music.

  • @MANHATTANBEEFMAN You are soooo right!!! Any attempt at saying otherwise is futile!

  • She does have some outstanding eyes.

  • Great voice from Agnetha.

This song from Robert John, is a Bee Gees Style.

I remember it, in the end of seventies....

  • Brilliant Jim, Love it

  • this song right hear was one women achievement in life before she died... and died horrifically... a life was cut short.. a sister, a aunt.. find out her name and give a little honor ....

  • I prefer this longer version over the shortened version.

  • I never used you, you knew I really cared

I hate to see it have to end

    But it's over...

  • Agnetha, The Queen, The Rose of Sweden, The only Wonder of the World.

  • I can see those eyes even when I close mines. Love Agnetha.

  • Roller skating rinks in the early 80s, is all I can think of.

  • @Roark66

    man!

  • No Sadder Eyes than these 2 Girls when they watched their lives slip away from the life and men they loved so much.......

'77 Grad ! I was there....Loved them both, great preformers and #4 on the ALL TIME RECORD SALE LIST...last I looked & It wasn't to long ago

  • it's been said that the eyes are the windows to the soul and i really believe that;we can all see how beautiful they are. thank you,jim

  • Once you start looking at Agnetha there is no way to forget this angel.

  • Agnetha´s eyes are full of that nordic melancholy..

  • Her eyes describe the history of a broken heart , being the most beautiful and most beloved in the World.

  • aww I feel sad watching this. I really understand her for some reason. :(

I think the shape of her eyes make her look sad too. Because she has eyes that have that sad angle if you really look at them

  • Oh don't get me wrong! There are some very, very beautiful swedish women, and many other european dolls ... but there was always just "something special" about Agnetha. AND HOW IN HELL did Bjorn let her slip away?? Stating that they had just "grown apart", they both remained sorry for their break-up. Didja' ever notice the looks Bjorn would give her while performing after that?? Why did he hook up with somebody else right after they separated? Never understood that!!

  • I had ask myself the same question so many times. I had look those eyes and you just can't move while she looks at you. That something special that makes her unique is so incredible strong; I call her an angel, a sweet angel.

  • From the very beginning, ABBA's music was groundbreaking. Agnetha & Frida's voices can never be duplicated ever again! Theyt both were absolutely beautiful - but there's something about Agnetha that you can't take your eyes off of her - in all those group pictures you always first focus on her and stay looking at her. From her first gap-toothed smile to later obvious dental work ( it was never needed in my opinion). She is the epitome of swedish beauty.

  • Her eyes tell that she was sad, confused, searching for truth and for real love.

  • You're right buddy, she does have one of the most beautiful sets of eyes i have ever seen. This song I heard many times on the radio back in 1979-80(I was 10) I was always a fan of certain ABBA songs as well. Back in 1978-80 they were on top of the world(deservedly so) I remember watching a full concert of theirs on PBS Ch.11 from Chicago(where I grew up) AWESOME VIDEO/SONG COMBO Ji61M,

Thanks for the memories and a video I'll watch over and over.

    Jeff

  • Excellent photos of our Goddess Agnetha! Great job! No matter who else is in the photo, my eyes are glued to her. Love it!!!!!!!!! Perfect, heart wrenching song, so fitting....

  • @jimsf415 Goddess? Yes! Without question. Thanks for the memories ji61m

  • Perfect combo of lyrics and photos. Agnetha is perfect for this video. She does have a beautiful smile as well.

    She's awesome!

  • Creative choice of subject matter over this great song. It would have never occurred to me but it works. Agnetha is much better to look at than Robert John, anyway.

  • Agnetha...la mujer más hermosa con la mirada más triste de todas...super pero super canción...RECUERDAZO...

    great job!

  • Pic at 3.03 Superb!!!!!!!!

  • Jim......This song is perfect for the clip. I sometimes feel that Aggie never really got over her breakup with Bjourn. She was never able to maintain any long term relationships after him . It is so very sad!

  • it troubles me...they had it all...we rise.........and then we all fall.....

  • I think you are thinking of Robert John ... who did this song originally in the late 70's ...

  • She's had such a hard life. Thanks for the video.

  • Hi All

Please!! Anyone can help me? I looking for this song but sing a girl, probably by a country singer. His voice is so power and clear.

    Thanks

  • This ole 70's rocker has some memories of this classic. I've been on both the giving and recieving end of sad eyes and neither was fun. SUPER MEMORY SONG. Thank You for the post.

  • I'm a 70's rocker myself ( there was no better time to be drawing breath than the 70's in my opinion ) If we could just find a way to bring back the singer/songwriters than all would be right once again. Thank you for looking in.

    Peace from Iowa...Jim~

  • this will be good for lady diana eyes- she too had such sad eyes

  • @ji61m I'm from Decorah -- miss the place. Great old musicians from the 70s there. Very laid back with tasty guitars.

  • When J.R. Tolkein envisioned the elves for his Lord of the Rings trilogy and Simerllion book, he must have had ABBA in mind. The ladies' beauty was out of this realm of existence

  • I hope Agnetha is happy right now, she deserves it. Thanks for your contributions sweetheart. I don't know her but I love her.

  • Nice video, well done !

  • Thank you...this song and Aggy's eyes just seemed like the perfect fit!

  • You are welcome..... they are the perfect combination !

  • Very sweet, Agnetha forever.

  • I totally agree...thanks for stopping by!

    Peace...Jim~

  • Great video and song, Agnetha had beautiful, but a little sad eyes...!

  • Thanks....the eyes are the windows of the soul....they can tell you secrets or they can keep them as well! Thank you for looking in.

    Peace....Jim~

  • I can say Agnetha was my first love when I was a kid

  • Agnetha, my love, my life...(sigh)

  • very nice...

  • young, **I couldn t let abba go, no no no.

I never let go (still) nerver let never go,

    The day before abba came

    Like ,how It feel today

    ABBA is alltid,always,forever.

    We,never let go....them like...

  • Abba............two fine looking women. This group was so under rated and had 4 very talented people. I loved their soft style mixed in with ZZ Topps, Bad Company, America, and others. This song sad eyes is a CLASSIC that will never die and a voice that is unreal. Thanks for some super memories.

  • Hi Ji61m, Great video. Yes,you are right, Agnetha has probably the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. I was only 10 in 1979 but I always liked ABBA and I even remember watching ABBA in concert on channel 11 with my Grandmother(RIP 2008) around that time. Great video.

    Jeff

  • Fab tune. I loved that 70's stuff. GREAT!!!

  • One of the best songs of the 70's!

  • I agree Stephen (I hope that's correct ) I don't know whether or not you like any part of ABBA, but I thought this song went well with Aggy's eyes! She has beautiful eyes. Thanks for looking in.

    Peace ...Jim~

  • Beautifull music after all,I always knew Agnetha was unhappy during her times beeing together with ABBA. she loved to sing so much. she loved to be with Bjorn and with her friends Benny and Annifrid. 30 years after that, real Agnetha fans know that nothing is what you want. My couloring book is one of a kind, I think, but i feel love forever jolanna
  • Nothing lasts forever and in this case Aggy's former life is no more. That's why we do what we do, to keep the memories alive. Good or bad, the memories should never be forgotten because they make us all what we are today. I truly believe Aggy is finally happy....

    Thank you Jolanna.

    Peace...Jim~

  • is dis bee gees??

  • Hi Melissa...This is a singer by the name of Robert John and this song was number one in October, 1979.

    Peace...Jim~

  • Oh, I think I have to listen to dum, dum etc just to lighten up. Abba had music for every emotion. Thank you Jim for your great love and appreciation for ABBA.

  • dat is so true..slipping thru my fingers made me cry d first time i listened 2 it..anyway, my mum doesnt really like me 2 be an abba fan...

  • Sorry to hear that, I can't imagine why. Good luck!

  • This makes me really sad to see Agnetha like this. I sometimes wonder if she expected more of Frida's friendship, since Frida was such a solid rock.

  • Robert John is one of my favorite singers.

Every voice heard in the song is Robert John.

  • was the woman part of abba? she is beautiful!!!!

  • Yes. She was one quarter of the greatest pop group (my opinion of course) ever! Stop by anytime, if you like ABBA I have many videos

featuring all the members, their group and solo works included. I'm also a die-hard Agnetha fan! Thanks for looking in.

    Peace from Iowa....Jim~

  • did agnetha sing on this

  • No she doesn't sing or appear in this video except by way of pictures. I've had many people ask me this question and anyone who knows the song knows it's Robert John. I neglected to fix this until I got your comment. I've added "photos" in the information and hopefully that fine because there's no room in the main title, and I'm not changing that. Sorry for the confusion, and thanks for the kick in the right direction.

    Peace, Jim~

  • Agnetha really does have 'sad eyes' !!! I'd forgotten how beautiful she is

  • Utterly mesmerizing.......

  • Thanks FJ. I tried something different by using other songs with their pictures and for the most part, they worked. This is my favorite one that I've done! Thanks for looking in.

    Peace, Jim~

  • I see how it's your favorite- it's an amazing combination of the perfect song for the subject, stunning photos expertly arranged, and 1/4 of the greatest band ever to record a song.

In fact, don't be surprised to get a message from me soon regarding somehow obtaining a HQ copy of this.....

Beautiful work, and I'm glad I found your channel. That's a LOT of videos to dig through, though.......:D

  • This has become a video that I HAVE to watch right before I go to work, Jim- you've hooked me......

Notice your view count has gone up- that's all me.......:D

  • Hi Jim!

Seems to me that I haven`t heard it before (believe or not), so I needed to listen to this time and again. Now I think the song is beautiful and these special eyes make it double!

Jim, just don`t look too deep into those Angeleyes, though I know You`re lost there for ever... :)

Bjorn has got sad eyes too at 3:50

Thank you Jim for another 5star`s song!

  • A cute song by Andy Gibb (Bee Gees ' brothers)

  • Thanks M. Actually, it's by singer Robert John. It was a #1 hit for him in 1979. He also sang a version of "The Lion Sleeps Tonite"

  • Ok, thanks, I've always tought it was sung by Andy, I was wrong :)

  • The chorus does have a Gibb-esque sound to it; many people mistake this for a Bee Gees song.

  • ok :) thanks

  • I remember this song like it was yesterday. Tells you something about my age! It does work well with our beautiful AGGY. Great job of putting this slide show together.. I envy you...hehe! ( I got no zoooom!)

  • Thanks Dallas. I'm just trying to save some of my better Aggy originals for a later date. In the mean time, I'll continue to use a lot these old favorites. If you have Movie Maker, Zoom in/out is Ease in/out on your effects. You can also speed it up or slow it down by using those effects.

  • This is such a beautiful song Jim.

I remember when this song was such a big hit and it fits very well with our beautiful Agnetha.

  • Thanks Kym. I thought that this would go well with Aggy and her beautiful eyes. I to, remember when it was such a big song.

  • She has very beautiful eyes indeed. I Like the song as well!

    =)

  • Thanks Johan. She has the most beautiful eyes and I would definitly love to get lost in them!

  • Those eyes draw you in Jim, nice choice of song too

  • Thanks Shay. I remember it well back in high school and even remember when it was #1 on Billboard's Top 100!

  • Wow what a beautiful song and the pictures are great.Thank you Jim!

  • Thanks Jackie. I'm sorry, I forgot you'd be taking tests. This is a great song and I tried to find some good pictures.

  • Ah yes I remember the song well :) And it fits so appropriately. Nice work Jim

  • Thanks Jim. I was a senior in High School when this song went to #1, and it brings back some good(and bad) memories.

  • Thanks, Jim!

  • Your very welcome. She has eyes that I could take a lifetime looking into! Thank you for watching.

    Peace, Jim~
