  • Thankyou for your calming nature and direction.

  • right on.. finally, someone with sense

  • Very insightful. Namaste.

  • Wonderful video.... meditation is personal and intimate. :D No Formulas

  • once in my life , i desire to meet him.... he is so calm & brings calmness in me

  • i've waited so long for someone to admit, that the power is within us... or should i say (YOU) thank you so much... honestly truly inspirational

  • Nice video. Keep them coming.

  • he isnt blinking= he isnt liying :D (kidding) i know you tell the truth the videos help me much!

  • i think everyone should find their own technic for meditation ...i for one find it easier to enter that close to no mind state with no back support but i cant's sit in the lotus position oor with my legs crossed cos they get numb...and it takes me about an hour to enter that state so by that time i can't feel my legs...so i do it on a chair

  • that is the greatest explanation of meditation i have ever heard , and its 100% true.

  • Meditation means AWARENESS so anything you do with AWARENESS is Meditation. Walking is Meditation if you walk with awareness. Eating is Meditation if you eat with awareness. Any activity can be Meditation if you become one with the activity. Live the actual moment, the mind want's to jump ahead or lag behind. Be fully in the present moment with all of your activities then life becomes effortless.

  • @MrEddievanhalo : YES! thx.

  • totally what Krishnamurti used to say.

  • this guy is a real master

    a modern jesus

  • Ok, it's not good to pay a lot for learning techniques, but you can use the old techniques to get closer to the state of meditation. What is wrong with that? I'm sure you are using some techniques too, maybe you could talk about that aswell.

  • the more you know about it the less you know?

  • This guy knows what he's talking about, but I don't.

  • i feel when i am not thinking when the truth and knowledge comes out the most

  • If a person donot blink his or her eyes that can stop thought, while when the master talking in this Video, before he blinks his eyes in about 3 minutes, does he know that he is talking and what he is talking about?

  • Gap in between floating thoughts are the spot where I rest. Rarely but I rest.

  • Sir thank you for good teaching.

  • There is only one word for this video ...beautiful...i love it...you complete mi doubts

  • This is great. And a relief because I always try to get into the sitting cross-legged pose and my back usually starts bothering me. Now I realized that I could just sit against something to help me out. :)

And if that quietness is meditation then I've been doing it for a lonnnnng time lol, I usually space out when I look out into the scenery or a lake or something.

  • Excellent explanation. You don't have to fight your thoughts. Get into the gap naturally with time.

  • He didnt blink his eyes, at 3:23 he blinked for first time. whatsup?

  • Are you asking that he should not blink while talking or that you are surprised that he only blinked after so many minutes?

When you watch a movie, pay attention to how seldom they blink. It is a practice.

  • @8000dollar he blinked his eyes many times.....

  • @8000dollar

I was also wondering about that! Damn : )

  • So right. Thanks PLT...

  • Very honest , and pure mind. Thank you ...

  • Beautiful. Love it. Thank you for the video. =)

  • I'm sorry I don't mean to sound like a jerk but I can't understand in some parts exactly what you're saying. Is there any chance you can edit this video and include subtitles?

Again, I don't mean to be insensitive, what I did understand I found very enlightening, I'm just having trouble in some parts you try to explain.

  • thank you.

  • He is good!!! Thank you!

  • they are all frauds! ahahaha

  • Answered a lot of questions.

  • Apparantly, Chidvalisananda is a total fraud. She even had her own brother intimidated so she could be the successor, and im told her spiritual level is laughable. She is not what she claims to be. She is an out and out fraud.

  • This is first rate teaching. He cuts right to the heart of things, unlike so many teachers today.

  • indeed, there is no protocol in meditation because once entering the meditative state of mind, there is only pure observation, an expansive mind in the state of observing, which is effortless; ..however, there is a protocol in how to best get there (a preparing state prior to entering meditation); it is this PREP-state where the money making scams happen; when all u need is to be quiet and you'll get there; -patience is a virtue;

  • excellent! the state of non-doing is the cessation of thoughts, the brain-thoughts ceased, the inner noise is gone, so that now the pure mind (the soul) finds itself in its pure (disembodied)state, where all things are effortless, a flowing state of pure observation, dis-attached from brainy judgments and prejudices, freely present and omnipresent, free of spacetime confinements, everything is in the now, easy, light, pure observing, pure consciousness, and saturated enlightenment

  • That was a perfect explanation. Thank you.

  • What does he say at 9:19? I'd like to use it as a mantra. It's powerful.

  • I like this guy.

  • Me too.

  • I really needed to hear this. Thank you for posting this video :). Peace

  • can i ask.. how do you not do anything, can anyone please give me some imformation or tips, thanks

  • you learn to shut out thoughts in order to rid yourself of brain-noise, which interferes with the pure mind (soul); the soul is an observer and not a talker; if the soul could tell you something, it would say something along the line of, "Shut up already! And just watch what i show you." -It's true. So, learn to quiet your brain by bouncing off your thought processes. -Like you are in a state of "WOW-ness", where you don't think for a minute but just observe. Then try to expand that minute. :-)

  • Meditation started in africa

  • Thank you very much for helping me to understand.

    Namaste.

  • i thought i would be happy to go to d. chopra's meditation center at least once, i do have a respect for him though, last time when he was in CNN w/ bill o'reily he once made a statement about s.t like when he came to u.s.a he had dollar only ...but this was r.t to some context which o'reily made, but after listening about how people make money with all these things, i believe he is not a true meditator

  • You are gifted as a teacher and have said more with less words than anyone in my experience. Thank you for continued guidance in my growth and understanding.

  • Thank you very much.

    For sharing your knowledge.

    For your generosity and kindness.

  • Thank you.

    That is very helpful indeed.

    Namaste

  • Thank you!

  • How do we allow meditation to happen to us? That's the question that we should be asking.

  • light!

  • Haha! Some funny comments concerning the teachers that charge lots of money :)

Fantastic words of wisdom from your videos, thanks a lot.

  • Thank you, your talks are very good

  • Thank you very much. I find that there are so many teachers teaching different Techniques that one can ever quieten the mind enough to reach any type of peace (laugh out loud) I have been watching your videos for some time now, In this world of deceit, it warms my heart and my soul rejoices that there is spiritual honesty still in the world. Peace, Love and Oneness with you, Thank you for being you brother, Love to you. :)

  • I will tell what I see. Dear master you are the only person i see inside your being the whole universe. I feel the universe is wearing a body and speaking. Especially in the eyes i see many stars.

  • Real Deal.

  • cool vid. I got this question; What are the truths and misconceptions about chakra's and aura's ? There is so incredible much of this going on on the internet, it's hard to understand.

  • thank you.

  • How do we achieve the state of humpty while retaining dumpty?

  • how do we reach this state of non doing?

can we achive this state of non doing in mind while we are doing work like today i work very hard and not rearly notice time had passed i just got lost in my work.and when i finsh i feel tired but rearly happy inside cus only present with my work not think about any other thing only work feel very much in the present is this a sort of meditative state of mind? anyone got any answers to my question please?

  • I'm not the expert, but for a clear mind and better concentrations it's good to eat and drink very healthy. You should try such practices some hours after eating.

  • After spending nearly a year trying to meditate and wondering if I was doing it right, I'm very happy have watched your video, It made perfect sense to me, as you rightly say when you try, you are not meditating. Great Video many thanks

  • Dr. Yogeesh,

I have a question about meditation that goes along with what you were saying. What is the difference when you relax into sleep verses when you relax into meditation? Sometimes I sometimes i am so relaxed my body wants to sleep.

    Thank you

    James

  • that made sence , thank you. i got an answer i was looking for

  • finally someone tells truth about meditation. Meditation is about not doing.

  • Thank you, now i know spending time trying to get into full lotus could have been time setting in a chair. Peace.

  • thanks for this explanation

    great post !
