Hi Danial thank you for the prompt reply is there any advantage in the flying and handling chariteristics of either mode, you mention the need to reprogram the HK controller for X mode, I am a bit confused as I read somewhere where plus mode was setup using Aircraft mode X mode was setup using Delta mode from what your saying there appears to be more to it, sorry for being a pain Regards Goofa

@SuperGoofa Im pretty sure there the same. IDK if elevon mode would work for X, I just reprogramed mine with the KKmulticopter X firmware.

Nice vid david. Looks like you did all of this by l.o.s? Try it in fpv mode and its a lot easier to follow stuff. On the other hand its more equipment to set up... The crashes looked mean - I hope the quad still lives! Gz, mario

great platform for videos. it looked like there was little if any wind, how does the quad operate in say 8 mph wind compared to drone? do you have any build uploads or uploads where you give dimensions/equipment for the quad?

He uses a program that stabilizes the already recorded video. In turn he sacrifices video resolution for a stable picture. You can tell at 3:42 the top arms are moving around because the software is constantly trimming the edges. I personally don't like it because it turns an HD video to a standard quailty video.

@catamaranman333 the first couple of shots were raw but a lot of them had image stabilization gone to them. The KK is good for just flying around, but I need something that will actually hold the quad in the same place
