First parts to what Eben was saying is very true. When the consoles came, C64, Sinclair etc was being eaten up left right centre. We have the Commodore Amiga and Atari ST but kids were more interested in games and the computers were very expensive. I remember the Amiga costing about £400 which was a lot to pay for a parent to give to a child. I hope this project works and gets some of the kids into creating something. I will certainly consider purchasing one.
Fantastic pitch. He is scarily correct. I learnt on an Amiga, those were great days. It was robust and fun to use. Home computers now are vulnerable, and regimented.
