this waawsome!i had to take my son to school @ the 86" so i recorded it. When i came back 15 min later i watched it biting my nails thinking they were going home for sure but then @91" he scored! I was up off the couch screaming @ the top of my lungs! It was great!

In soccer, when you are losing 2-0 the game is over (95% of the time). When the game is tied by injury time, the game is all but tied, you just wait to end the game. But tell that to these "crazy American" and they will have none of it. This US Team has enriched the game of International soccer in ways many can't imagine. Some of us consider improvement from one year to the next to be a minor success. The US has never been a soccer nation, but the sport is gaining momentum here. Look at where Team USA were 20 years ago in this sport. I don't expect they'll be taking a World Cup victory home in the next decade, but at the rate our teams have improved in the past decade, I wouldn't count them out in 12 years.
Donovan needs to come back to Everton at this stage of his career - he has done all he can for his home country and the mls now he should think of himself and become a real star of the premier league

although it was a fortunate goal i don't see it as that amazing. the amazing thing was that he was at the right place but didn't require that much soccer skill to get it in. the goalie was down and there was nobody to tackle or block him.

Some of us consider improvement from one year to the next to be a minor success. The US has never been a soccer nation, but the sport is gaining momentum here. Look at where Team USA were 20 years ago in this sport. I don't expect they'll be taking a World Cup victory home in the next decade, but at the rate our teams have improved in the past decade, I wouldn't count them out in 12 years.

Soccer, wrestling, swimming are real sports that require men, not some go hard for 5 secs take a break and do it again type of people.
