@onlyonelondon How's it going! so the liquid diet prior to the surgery isn't necessarily because of the effectiveness of weight loss as much as it is about just preparing yourself for liquids post op AND your stomach. My surgeon requires it out of all of his patients because it cleanses the digestive tract opposed to using a medicinal cleanser. Also, there are chances that remaining percolate matter can cause infections or death during surgery. Does that make sense?
i am really interested in your liquid diet because i will be starting mine. i just want to know how affective it is for you just to have an all around idea of it for myself.
Wow, you are right, things are all up in the air and cutting it close before surgery. I will pray that everything goes well. I know you would hate to do this diet only to have your surgery put off again. It will be alright!!! God's got this!!!! Keep us updated.
