  • Very good demonstration. I do wonder, however, if maybe a Steinberger guitar equipped with a TransTrem can allow you to play that very same guitar intro and achieve similar results by using the TransTrem to bend certain notes?

  • A little sloppy my arse

  • dude youve done blown my mind i went out and spent 1400$ on a b-bender nashville tele to get that hahaha where was you 5 years ago

  • i honestly think this is badass!! but when you said gstring..i laughed hahahaha..sorry..u can delete this..but your awesome with the guitar

  • you are great.

  • Set em up Joe...LOL..Sure can...Guitar or steel?

  • Mickey,I dont know what kind pilot you are but you are one hell of a picker I have never seen anybody explain licks and turnarounds as you do you make it easy to understand could you do the intro to set um up joe on steel thanks for all the help your one of a kind SHOBUDLDG

  • Sounds great, but pretty heavy on the effects. IMO, the lesson would be much more affective without all the effects...

  • Awsome Pickin, keep it up I cant wait to try it

  • thats beautiful

  • Dude, one word "AWESOME". This really helps me.

  • Hey thanks Lovin...the main difference you will hear on the record is that the first note bent is actually an open Bstring with the bender. Although this phrasing uses these notes fretted the open strings seem to make it believable...Thanks for the compliment

  • very pretty sound .. love the look of your guitar too

  • Thanks...its a closet classic strat with an Alembic pre-amp built-in

  • Real pretty! It's that second riff up at the 11th fret that is a total knockout...wow it really sounds like a B bender or pedal steel!

  • Yeah aint that cool?>..Thanks for the comp my friend....Glad you liked it....I got behind the nut bends for Nowhere Bound by Diamond Rio as well, if youd like me to post it let me know....Mickey

  • Mickey, that would be much appreciated if you would post those 'behind the nut' bends.

You've got the chops brother, but even better is your ability to demonstrate and explain with clarity in a very short time.

    Thanks for sharing the knowledge.

    Joe

  • Thanks Joe, Ill put some up tonight for you....Thanks so much for the compliments...Mickey

  • I needed a way to make it sound authentic, without a bender. The only way to do that was to bend, with open strings ringing. It really was quite simple to break apart the phrase and use every other E and B open while approaching all the others from fretted positions. In the end, my bandmates were quite surprised!..And its appealing sounding too, I thought.....thanks for the post
