do you know what mods was done to the vr6 infront of you? I thought a ko4 polo gti would be much quicker than an NA VR6 either r32 or 2.8.

The R32 has basically every NA mod possible. Plus has a lot more grip in the corners, plus this was a warm up lap.

read the info on the left and it say its the polo.

did the car in front sound turbo? No, just pure N/A VR goodness. If it was turbo it would be a BIG turbo.

The polo still rips though, obviously!

yeah there really fun to drive. i got mine a month ago, and i love it. and cos vw have been using the 1.8t engine for a while now, theres tuning available for them every where, including ecu or "chipping", front mounted intercooler, exhaust, and ko4 turbo upgrade. though evan a simple chip can reap pretty big rewards. go test drive one you wont be disapointed, though if i had have had the cash i would have brought a golf gti.

I am strongly considering purchasing a polo GTi, are they fun to drive?

Put a chip in them for over 200hp and 330nm and you'll see what fun is :) I love mine.

It's a "driving solutions" track day, they do them every month at EC. Good fun!!

Good vid, I did about 30 laps of the 1/2 course year before last as part of a driving course, great fun but no overtaking understandably. What event was this part of?
