  • python its already dead just let go and eat it

  • I don't get how people get mad at feeding a snake, don't like it? don't watch it. We all need to kill something to eat (Don't make me get technical), its a part of nature, Toughen up and don't freak out.

  • dumb snake ? Jack ass

  • is your ball a pastel cinnamon

  • so um when they eat it does it poop it out o-o

  • If my logic is correct a penis belongs to a male and a vagina belongs to a female

  • has a snake ever choked to death?

  • @Blareification I have your back 100%. Now for that idiot, jonrg77, What are we to do? Kill all gopher snakes because they eat cute fluffy gophers?

  • So there are at least 20 idiots that have seen this video. Pythons are carnivores are you going to just let the animal starve and die. Animals eat other animals (the true circle of life). That rat was bread to be food just like your chickens (unless you're a vegetarian in which case you are some skinny fuck that thinks the Lion King is real). Lions eat warthogs and mirror cats, snakes eat mice and rats that's the way it is. Limp Bizkit sucks though just my opinion. I guess it does fit the vid.

  • What the fuck is going on here? Is some liberal hippie PETA member trying to accuse me of animal abuse? The rat was FUCKING DEAD ALREADY!! and even if it wasn't, is your tender constitution going to be able to stomach slaughtering all the snakes, cats, dogs, birds, and whatnot that mercilessly kill rats in a slow and painful manner in the wild just to spare the poor rats the agonizing death? Grow a brain retard.

  • @KurNorock

    I agree

  • 5:42 smokin' a fatty lol

  • ALL CAPITAL LETTERS MAKES MY WORDS MORE SIGNIFICANT!

  • guys guys guys the rat is dead so no it not animal abuse he just is feeding the snake.

  • If you put the rat alive in there would the snake able to kill her or him.

  • @ChannelLyrics093 Yes. That's how wild snakes feed.

  • the animal cruelty arguments on these videos are more interesting than the video itself, lol. Death to all rats!... and terrorists!

  • 2:12 - samurai sensei snake with awesome white beard :D

  • thats cool i use to have a ball python but it died mine was like 5 feet long

  • How long after he finishes do you wait to pick him up again? I heard if you do it too soon they may regurgitate.

  • @Serikiyo I think you can leave him for a few minutes just to digest a little, and as long as you're not handling them and playing with them, you can set them back down in their enclosure without much risk of regurgitating the meal.

But yeah, you shouldn't be messing with them too much after eating.

  • I feed my Boa live rats.. I like watching the kill

  • make sure you actually like the snake and dont just want something symbolic of the culture you idolise.

  • @jonrg77 if you're gonna make such stupid and ignorant comments make sure you at least know how to spell.

  • @jonrg77 wow calm the fuck down if we didnt have snakes then the bird and rodent population would get to high then all the birds and rodents would eat all the insects that we need so we need snakes

  • @jonrg77 You're a cunt. Inox me where you live and I'll sort you out lad.

  • @360gunnings EASY SAID WHEN YOUR HIDING BEHIND YOUR COMPUTER! YOU LITTLE COCKSUCKER! OBVIOUSLY YOU AGREE WITH THIS PIECE OF SHIT THAT HAS NO RESPECT OF LIFE!

  • @jonrg77 No respect for life, eh? You sir are the stupidest idiot I have ever seen in my entire life. Life includes everything; rodents, reptiles and even plants. So just because our snakes eat your bloody rats naturally, it marks us as having no respect for life? You need to get your uneducated ass off the damn internet. Oh, and go back to school, you waste of life. IT'S "YOU'RE". AS IN "YOU ARE". NOT AS IN "YOUR", WHICH IS A POSSESSIVE PRONOUN. Come on, you little shit, I'm 13 and I know this.

  • @blareification IN the wild yes! but you don't lock a living tame animal in with a predator! if you cant see this then you must be a retard! at the zoo do they just thro a living zebra in with the lions?NO! piss off back to school! maby you will learn something! where i come from they would drag this prick out of his house kick the shit out of him, then bury him along with his dum ass primitive snake! who in the right mind would want an UGLY,CREAPY,COLD BLOODED SNAKE ANYWAY?????

  • @jonrg77 They don't throw a living zebra in because they aren't stupid. And they would feed their snakes rats too you little fuck. Piss off back to school, MAYBE YOU would learn something. And where the fuck do you live, eh? Somewhere where animal cruelty is encouraged? 3rd world? Did you even go to school? Have you ever touched a snake? I'm bored discussing this bullshit with you, and you can blame yourself for the couple LIVE RATS you have inspired me to feed to my snake. Good day.

  • @blareification THE ONLY TIME I WOULD TOUCH A SNAKE IS ON THE END OF MY KNIFE! YOUR BOREING! WHO IN THE RIGHT MIND THINKS ITS RIGHT TO LOCK AN INOCENT ,HARMLESS MAMMAL IN WITH A PIECE OF SHIT SNAKE! IS A MORON!

  • @jonrg77 I'm not going to bother with this matter anymore, you're too stupid to understand anything I say. As I asked before, did you even go to school? Have you bothered opening your eyes and seeing, if not Googling, that rats carry disease and are naturally controlled by snakes? Instead of arguing further, I'm going to make you look stupider by pointing out all your grammar mistakes :) beginning now: The only PLACE, You're boring, innocent, and if you did go to school, you should be able to

  • @blareification Piss off 99% of all animals may or may not carry disease! how the fuck can you have the cheek to argue with me! if you reckon your educated, and know right from wrong, HOW THE FUCK IS IT WRIGHT TO LOCK A TAME MAMMAL IN WITH A PIECE OF SHIT LIKE THAT?THAT HAS NO CHANCE OF ESCAPE! ANYONE THAT THINKS THATS OK IS RETARDED! AND NEEDS SHOOTING!

  • @jonrg77 Continuing from my previous comment; you should be able to tell that your final sentences should have been typed as: Who, in the right mind, thinks it's morally right to lock an innocent, harmless mammal in with a beautiful snake? Anyone who does is a moron. As you can see, I added the proper ADJECTIVE to describe the snake. Now, what does adjective mean?

  • @jonrg77 And I just wanted to let you know, I'm 13. You've been owned by a 13 year old. How does it feel? To be inferior to someone with so many years less of life experience? Hahahaha, I pity you.

  • @blareification I PITY A LITTLE PRICK LIKE YOU! AS YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU DESERVE IN THE END! YOU OBVIOUSLY DON'T KNOW RIGHT FROM WRONG! AS YOU THINK ITS RIGHT TO LOCK A HARMLESS,TAME ANIMAL IN WITH THAT COLD BLOODED TURD! YOUR THE TYPE THAT GETS A BUZZ OUT OF TORTURING SMALL FUZZY ANIMALS! LIKE I BET YOU TIE ROCKETS TO CATS AND BUNNYS.ITS NOT THERE FALT YOU WAS ABANDONED AT BIRTH!! I BET ONE DAY SOMETHING REALLY BAD WILL HAPPEN TO YOU OR YOUR FAMILY!

  • @jonrg77 You need to shut the hell up if you dont like this vid why did you watch it dumbass

  • @MrJavonnthomas PISS OFF agreeing with pieces of scum primitive reptile lovers!

  • @jonrg77 DUDE you are a pussy its a part of life get over it and stop being a whiny little bitch about it i bet if you were a snake you would do the same thing asshole

  • @jonrg77 Rats spread disease. Diseases kill people. Many, many people. Snakes eat rats in nature. Rat population decreases. Less humans die. People keep snakes as pets. Snakes need to eat. People feed their snakes. Snake healthy. People happy. Rat too stupid to feel emotion. Rat couldn't care if he dies to feed snake. Rat knows no better. Some people angry because of lack of education. You are one of them. Me get born into rich family. Me can afford education and understanding of food chain.

  • @blareification so is your mum,now piss off and play with your UGLY,PRIMITIVE,COLD BLOODED REPTILE, THAT PROVES WHAT I DICK YOU ARE AS RODENTS ARE MAMMALS LIKE US! O SORRY I FORGOT YOUR A COLD BLOODED PRIMITIVE REPTILE! ALSO YOU PRICK,ONE OF MY GUITARS COSTS MORE THAN YOUR HOUSE,SO DONT PRESUME THINGS YOU HELMET!

  • @jonrg77 Let me guess, you know my mum? What does she look like, hmm? What are you, 9?. Sure you have a guitar worth AU $1.5mil. Why don't you go play guitar in your precious rat shit, eh? They're filthy rodents, with the only similarity between us being that they are mammals. The can't feel emotions. The couldn't care less if you fed their parents to a snake, they're not smart enough to know how. And instead on wasting, as you claim, over $1 mil on a guitar, maybe your mum and dad could have

  • @blareification sent you to school.

  • @jonrg77 There, I "dumbed" it down for ya.

  • @jonrg77 Well look at you, you ignorant, stupid, little piece of shit. I can't believe I have actually found someone on this planet who I actually believe is an absolute waste of human life. Go cuddle your disgusting, unhygienic, shit smelling rats then and leave our beautiful reptiles alone you worthless shithead.

  • @blareification That shows how much of a prick you are! rats are cleaner than you and your primitive creapy, cold blooded pieces of shit reptiles! what kind of pleasure can you get from some emotionless, cold blooded PRIMITIVE! reptile! sorry i forgot your as cold blooded as them reptiles! as you agree with this cocksucker that locks harmless tame rats in with this piece of scum snake, that should be put through a shredder! its not the rats falt that you was concieved by RAPE! FUCK off you CUNT!

  • @jonrg77 Rats are dirty and smell like shit. They are a pest and spread disease and destroy crops. You are the stupidest, uneducated, little fuck I have ever interacted with

  • @blareification PISS OFF YOU CUNT! SO IS YOUR MUM! DO NOT MESSAGE ME AGAIN! OR I WILL MAKE IT MY LIFES MISSION TO HUNT YOU DOWN! YOU MORON!

  • @jonrg77 Oh, have fun hunting me down. What will you do if you find me?

  • @blareification THRO YOU IN WITH A OVERSIZED ANACONDA! SEE HOW YOU LIKE IT!

  • @jonrg77 I would love to see such a magnificent animal!

  • @blareification NOT AS DIRTY AS YOUR MUM!

  • @jonrg77 Snakes are quiet, scentless, and harmless. You are too ignorant to go and FUCKING EDUCATE YOURSELF ABOUT THEM. THERE'S THIS THING CALLED THE INTERNET. GO AND FUCKING GOOGLE SNAKES AND LEARN ABOUT THEM BEFORE YOU GO AND MAKE UNEDUCATED BULLSHIT STATEMENTS ABOUT THEM.

  • @jonrg77 rats kill Over 900 million people die each year from disease caused by rats and rodents ie. Helminths (worms):

  • Comment removed

  • @jonrg77 hey stupid shit you think i would actually watse my time with a hippie making up diseases and what % they should be at if you think that your stupider than meg griffin type in you

  • @jonrg77 then why are you complaining over a dead rat millions more will replace him dumb ass

  • @jonrg77 Looks like you're losing this battle, dumbass.

  • @jonrg77 Life to a rat is no big deal to them. They rely purely on instinct, they don't think like, "Oh no! That snake is going to eat me! I don't want to die, I haven't seen Paris yet! Oh, I'll miss you mum!", they would probably think like this; "Predator.....Predator....Predator..Run...Run...RUN..RUN....."*dead*. And instead of wasting your time protecting dumb animals online, go donate to charity. Help people instead of wasting money on a guitar worth over $1.5mil, as you claim. Idiot.

  • atleast you didnt just get rid of it... healthy looking snake

  • poor poor

  • that is so cool

  • I dont like watching a snake get bit either. Plus if you kill the mouse JUST before feeding it, it is still warm and fresh. The mice dies quickly and doesnt have to fight for life plus the snake is safe from getting a nasty bite mark that could later end up infectious and kill the snake. People need to realize that live feeding should be used ONLY when the snake wont eat any other way. It is just safer for the snake.

  • woww

  • Beautiful snake. He's in excellent condition and it's great to see people promoting not only pre-killed diets, but also feeding outside of the enclosure.

  • Heaven bless you!You fed it pre killed rat!THANK YOU!

  • 2:09 santa snake!

  • snakes arent dumb douch bag!

  • GOOO SNAKE...

  • My snake only got bit once; and mastered the art; my breeder fed them from live as a baby; Helps stop picky eating.

  • sometimes if the food is to big for the snake to it it chokes to death if the snake can not get the food out in time

  • someone please answer me! my python is not eating anyting! im ery scared she hasnt eaten in about 1 month does anyone know y?

  • @akamaster09 pythons sometimes just fast for a while. Its winter so it might just be slowing down for the season. Try a small live prey item or if you feed frozen try opening the skull and smearing the brain matter on the outside of the prey item, gross but it works well

  • :(! poor rat :P:(

  • @TheSassygirl1077 when he's crawling up the side of the enclosure and does not spend so much time in his hide box, then you should feed him. i always recommend live because the mouse RARELY hurts the snake and you can never know how long the mouse has been dead if you buy frozen. that's just my two cents on it.

  • I don't see why this video has so many dislikes. Good quality, enough edits so we don't stare at the same thing for 5 minutes. Frozen/thawed rat, so there is no killing in the video. I mean, if you like snakes, what's not to like? If you don't like snakes... then why are you watching?

    "Watched by... probably nobody"

So apparently 21,401 people are "nobody". ;)

  • limp bizkit and Dethklok in the same vid? You make me sick, sir.

  • do ball pythons ussaully bite their owner cause im getting 1 on my b-day and i have a corn snake that never tries 2 bite me and i jst dnt wnt 2 get bit thx :)

  • @hamstergamer1

It'll be okay :) Ball Pythons are as good as Corn snakes, and if you get them captive bred and you know how well to raise them (and I'm assuming you do since you have a well-mannered Corn snake) then they will be just as docile and nice as your Corn snake. The only time they might bite is when you make an accident or when it's a baby, due to a feeding reflex, but they won't ever really hurt you if you know what you're doing. :)

  • Im not gonna lie, thats the best looking snake ive ever seen

  • if the snake is confused about the dead rodent, does it sometimes not eat it? Great video BTW.

  • what dethklok song is that?

  • the music stinks

  • @TheSassygirl1077 2 ft long sound like he might be about 1 years old and u can feed him live feed if u wanted to u just have to knock it out so when Dante strike he dont get bit

  • Thanks for showing a video on how to properly feed snakes. I am tired of watching videos of people feeding (too big) live rats to their pet snakes while the snake is in it's terrarium.

  • We have enslaved the rest of the animal creation, and have treated our distant cousins in fur and feathers so badly that beyond doubt, if they were able to formulate a religion, they would depict the Devil in human form. ~William Ralph Inge, Outspoken Essays, 1922

  • GROSS BUT COOL

  • @TheUtubemaster1 You getting bite by a snake has nothing to do with if its alive or not. You can feed live prey or pre killed and the snake will be just as tame. Its all in HOW you feed the rat/mouse that matters.

I'm curious, can you guys in the UK feed any live animals or just rats and mice ? Like could you feed fish and crickets and stuff or is that illegal too ?

  • tha's mest up

  • A ball python can be a bad eater.

If you give them dead rat's or mice, they will refuse them quicker than live.

And a rat won't kill your snake, just stay around when you put a live one in his cage.

Your snake only takes a rat when it's in the right position, when it can't hurt him.

and well, if he would get scratched or something, it will go away when they peel.

It's not a big deal to feed them live animals :).

  • @MrGamingxglitcher Rats can and do kill you snake, just talk to snake breeders they will tell you story's, its happened many a time. You should always kill them once they get past the size in this vid. I feed my small rats live but I always stick a pencil in the mouth of the rodent so they cant bite my snake. NOT true at all, I have seen snake miss so badly they bite the tail and wrap the rat with only the tail in its mouth. They aren't perfect and any miscue can be bad and even deadly.

  • haha lol the rat wont KILL the snake

  • @mw2xify If I tied you up in a locked room with no arms or legs and let a few hungry rats out they would start eating you too, why do you think a snake would fair any better ? Truth of the matter is larger prey items like rats can, do, and have killed peoples pets. Snakes aren't magic, they can bleed out and die from large bite wounds just like nay other living creature. If the snake doesn't strike just right the rats have a good 30 seconds to a min to do allot of damage

  • @pac6010 rats can bite snakes but lets only be unfair, the snake will kill all the rats

  • Fitting song.

    Lol.

  • So how do you put him back in the tank without him puking up the rat? I'm just wondering, because I'm thinking about getting a ball python and that's the only question that's stumping me.

  • @NaruZilla You support the lump where the rat is, wild snakes regurgitate when picked up because they are trying to flee. Captive snakes that are used to handling wont do that unless you handle them for long periods after you feed. So you just fed your snake a rat. Once the tail is in the mouth and the snake closes give it like 5 mins to settle, then with both hands pick up the snake supporting its whole body and the lump with the rat especially. Then just genitally place them back in the cage.

  • @pac6010 Mkay, Thank you so much! And "genitally'?? XD!! I love typos!

  • @NaruZilla ROFL, ya that auto spell check strikes again lol. I like responding to these vids helping people getting a better understanding of snakes. Lots of misconceptions out there ya know.

  • @pac6010 YES!! I know what you mean! I really do not like misconceptions and everytime I hear one coming out of a person, I have to lecture them about it.

And by the way, I really want spell checks now! I seriously want to see what "Spell Checks" my computer does for me! XD

  • i would be afraid he would try to eat me if i picked em uhp

  • btw just wondering how you killed the rat becuase i dont want my snake to be bit by it .

  • @reptilemadman1994 search rat gas chambers. Pretty quick way of doing it.

  • @highflydanger How much do you spend on Gas ? Right now I breed my own but I Bonk em on the head and kill them that way. Gas sounds easier but to buy tanks and gas every mouth seems like it would get pricy. Anyways if you have exact figures or do this any insight would be helpful. Thanks

  • @pac6010 I don't have snakes, I've just researched a lot. But there is a way you can do it with dry ice. Its really cheap. Mostly just a 1/2 gallon milk carton w/ a 1/4 filled w/ water. A tube going from top of carton to top of where mice are place dry ice in water and CO2 will kill the mice fairly quickly. Search for it on Youtube a guy has a good vid on it...

  • nice vid whats the name of the song?

  • and um dont pythons spit up the bones a few hours later? or do they digest too?

  • This shits creepy.. i want one.

  • i knw it's dead and nature but that reminds me of my dad's rat... TT^TT

  • how big is he ? cos im not sure cos it looks like its overweight not saying it is just looks like that cos of the camera angle

  • nice music... lol

  • @TheSassygirl1077 - once a week is just fine. But once you notice that it is starting to be longer and longer periods of time between when it sheds its skin that means it is nearing its adult size and can be fed less often.

  • @TheSassygirl1077 - If it is only 2 feet long it is probably between 8months and 15 months old. They grow fairly quickly for the first 2-3 years of their life.

  • @KurNorock ill post a vid soon but i have a two year 8 month old female... she weighs about 900g and just over 3 1/2 feet. i just feed a a large rat for the first time. but she wont eat unless its alive. i dont like her to get bite but i need her to eat, she has been biten twice and seems to go for the head everytime. she is soon to be bred with a panda-pied-ball. she eats like a pig but i didnt think she get this one down. the rat was at least twice that size. pretty male though.

  • this might be a really stupid question but can you like pet it without it attcking you or do anything with the snake besides feed it?

  • @YounggTuck - Yep. With snakes like this (especially the ones that get much larger) you want to handle them often from a very young age to acclimate them to being handled. If you do not do that they will generally just act like a wild snake and defend themselves because they think you are a predator.

That being said, any snake IS a wild animal and they can't really be trained. Accidents can happen.

  • This is a serious question: Do snakes have.... butts? or, something? Do they poop? Do they pee?

  • @Fartcigen they have a anal vent right where there spurs are at. 2-4 inches from the end of the tail.

  • @Fartcigen - yeah they have a 'butt' Like Xdrizzy said it is called a 'vent' or 'cloaca' and it is basically an all purpose opening at the base of the tail. Snakes don't pee. Like most birds and other reptiles their urine is actually a solidified, powdery, almost chalk that is mixed in with their feces.

Makes clean up rather simple though!

  • How long should you wait before putting the snake back in his tank?

  • do snakes have asses? jk

  • hes fat

  • pretty snake for the size.minez alot darker and a little bigger

  • why is it a dumb snake??

  • @ljisbusy - lol because it takes the stupid thing FOREVER to find the head and start eating the meal.

Seriously, this particular feeding took over 90 minutes. 45 minutes of that was the snake just trying to find the rats head.

  • @ljisbusy i think because it tried to constrict a dead rat, when clearly the rat is not moving. lol, the snake is just a baby though.

  • Very cool!!! I watched all 8:30 seconds of it. Pretty amazing!!

  • why ya dont feed livin rats?

  • @GreenRebellion - Because live rats tend to fight back and could possibly injure the snake. Not to mention, by buying frozen rats, I can buy 5 or more at a time and store them in my freezer. That saves me having to make multiple trips to the pet shop.

  • i dont think that is a baby......

  • @lizardguy7 - lol, well it is! Look at the size of it compared to my hand when I pick it up to put it back in its tank. It is probably just over 2 feet long right now. A fair bit shorter than the 40-60 inches it is supposed to reach.

  • @KurNorock that is not a baby...

  • @Donovanseay - yeah.. it was a baby.

  • very cool yo! and why did you steal Stewart, our pet mouse? damn you!!!

  • @supermaninhd - lol, I had no idea you had a pet mouse! Mice are dumb anyway, just feed it to my snake and get a pet rat. MUCH better pets. I once trained one to fetch me the TV remote.

  • Yo, check out my video of my BP eatig and tell me if I should switch her to small rats. I tried to feed her a live small rat and she got scared and slithered away. I tried frozen thawed but she's not having it. help me out. I know my snake is at least 3.5'

  • @JordaneX27

I watched your video. Your snake should be eating something much larger.

Ball Pythons can be known to be very picky eaters. If she has had nothing but white mice her whole life, that may be all she will ever eat.

Try finding the smallest white rats you can. If she won't eat those, you may just have to feed her two, three, or four mice at a time.

She seems nice and plump, so she is certainly not starving.

If all else fails, ask a pet shop or vet for their opinion.

  • i got a ball python about a month ago and the person I got if from said it was feeding on small rats already.....he is now 4 months, 260 grams and feeding on 100-130 gram rats (small-medium)....how often can it take a meal that big?

  • @djtenacious

That seems like a pretty big rat for such a small snake. But as long as your snake can swallow it without problems I guess that is fine. It can be dangerous to feed a snake something too large. They might even rip open, or just puke their meal back up.

Just watch your snake. If it is getting just really fat, you are feeding too often.

With baby snakes it may be better to feed smaller meals more often rather than large meals less often. Maybe try large mice too.
