Well I haven't really got used to Sony Vegas, and I haven't tried out this whole midi import thing yet. Thus I don't really know what's the problem with that, sorry ^_^;
@hoggstar1 vegas can't read midi files. for me at least, the purpose of a midi file is to isolate the various tracks that would normally be difficult to track in the original version of the song. in order to pull the midi apart, you'll need a program like fl studio to import the midi and then export each track as an mp3.
