  • wooohooo so glad i found your channel! I have the same feeling about thrift stores vs. department stores, I actually used to not really be into shopping for clothing because i dreaded having to look at all the stuff but in thrift stores and consignment stores I actually look forward to it, like that's the fun part for me (more-so when I find stuff, lol) great video :D

  • A good way to wash used clothes is to use vinegar. Might sound weird but it works a lot. Check it out on google.

  • this video makes me feel like its okay to go thrifting at first i was like embarrassed

to go thrift shopping but now im excited to go thrifting

  • @NinjaAttack98 Girl, embarrassed? Thrifting is the BEST go do that shit!

  • I used to feel that way too. I recently found a Michael Kors dress with the tags from Macy's for $2 (quite the steal the tag said $129) ! When you find something like that you will be hooked!

  • something that helps if you can't wash it is if you spritz vodka and water onto clothes it gets out the musty smell out

  • como le como la boca pordios!!!

  • lol she said crusty underwear

  • Hi Julia! Kid Cudi has some albums on Amazon for 5 bucks right now. :)

  • try not to get any necklaces from thrift shops because the area around your neck is super sensitive, and I think it's easiest(not including piercings) to get a rash.

  • hey @itsblitzzz, about trashy-metal jelw: you can always put a thin layer of colourless nail polish (or a double layer;) so your skin d be touching a nail-polish cover/coat not the metal

    :)

it works great, im a huge fan of original jelwery, some of my fav pieces are not made from gold/sliver so before I discovered this method I had to say no to it but now I can wear it with no worry ( i have a very sensitive skin too)

eh sorry bout my bad eng., Im polish ;)

    ps youre great! : )

  • you have such a great personality !

  • nice vid ^_^

i get what you mean..i am a manager of a charity shop and like the amount of dirty thing we get in is stupid....really puts me off when i go in to other charity shops and there stuff is dirty or stained...cos i would never dream of putting out most of that stuff..makes there shop look bad

  • oh my god. on friday, i got hit in the face with a lacrosse stick, and i have a bruise on my nose too. It honestly does look like I have a huge pimple. LOL.

  • @PariaAhhmazing Tell me about it! 3 days later my nose is still awkwardly swollen!

  • @itsblitzzz

hahaha, mine still hasn't gone away and it's been 4 days!

my brother just noticed the bruise on my nose today and asked if it was a pimple...-_-

  • I love thrift stores and flea markets :]

  • There's a place in my town called the Free Box, its where people dump all the clothes they dont want anymore, so then other people can just take what they want. BEST PLACE TO GET T-SHIRTS TO PRACTICE WITH!!!

  • I live in Oregon, and if anyone knows of any good vintage stores that sells clothes message me!

  • I live in vegas, wahts your favorite places

  • i went to a goodwill where i live that was sickly dirty way beyond the normal mothball slightly dusty situation i didn't even want to put my feet on the floor ick!

i am with you no panties or swimsuits second hand ick but i will by vintage slips, corsets, or a bra if it fit :-)

  • I agree with everything you are saying - but I would add that it's wise to invest in some Woolite (to wash very fragile fabrics) and also to invest in some leather conditioner or pure beeswax (because some leather finds look pretty bad but simply need a good massage with some leather tlc).

  • I'd like to faceplant into the back of your trunk!!!

  • 100% with you, i love vintage and retro looking clothing, but you cant really find that in stores even if its "the trend" or something, they make it to look cute and vintage, but something is just missing.

  • @MIssTouver Agree!!!!

  • Try youtube.com/user/lilithedarkmoon

She does hair braiding tutorials that are pretty easy to follow. :D

  • anybody knows a good thrift/vintage store in dallas area? can't seem to find a good one here...

  • Las Vegas has an arts district?? I didnt even know cause my familys not cool, Im going to have to check that out

  • When I lived in Chicago my husband and I went thift hopping every Saturday. Now I have to drive 2 hours to get to a good one.

  • you freakin crack me up! hope your day gets better. your braid looks good!

  • ICE YOUR NOSE WOMAN.

Also, if you ever stop by Savannah GA, check out Civvies. They have both new and vintage clothing, and their vintage section can be quite interesting to look through. The only problem I've ever encountered is that I'm a size small, and everything tends to be too big for me. Oh well. =]

  • Thanks for the tips! I will be thrifting tommorow! :D

  • 2:29 OMG girl.. be careful next time..

btw, thanks for these tips, I recently have the urge to go thrifting in goodwill.. but I'm afraid to get something that I won't use or won't match clothes that I have

    =(

yeah.. Im awfull at these things... hahaha

    keep up the great work!

  • can't wait to check out the thrift stores here in town,,,thanks for the tips,,,:))

  • Just went thrifting today and scored a couple treasures in tops :) Salvation army 50% off which meant nothing was more than $3 :) I love thrift shops, but I can never find anyone willing to go through EVERYTHING with me :P Thanks for being you!
