No need to get offensive, but you are correct. I would argue it wasn't a double lift per se but I do like the change. Performed properly (and done to remove suspicion etc) it can be very powerful. A magician may not fall for it (they tend to be naturally suspicious) but a layman would be nailed. Nice little video

the preparation is invisible even when a deck has been barely opened. also in vegas a couple shots of tequila and you wont notice a thing.

Yes i agree that there is no real practical application for this trick. i do however think that for beginner card handlers this is a very simple way to get familiar with card manipulation. it works the fingers, promotes quickness, and introduces misleading the target...all-in-all, a good exercise. for all others, dont be so quick to hate...peace!

I very rarely comment here at all but I have to say that you should either remove this or rename it as "alternative for people who can't do a one hand second". This is of no use in gambling and pretty much redundant for magic purposes. The name made me waste 5 minutes of my existence. Sorry, harsh but true.
