Holy crap, I have an Odyssey^2 never could stand Wizard of Wor though.

Wow, is the Voice really that big? I heard it was a cartridge, but didn't know it took up the whole top of the system.

I found one of these in a Goodwill in 1993and had it till 2005-2006 before someting went wrong and one controller worked the other player as well. Couldn't figure what was wrong and tossed it. Am going to buy another one as I still have my games that I bought for it. My girlfriend had one when she was a kid and loved playing it when it worked. Very hard to find no days execpt on Ebay. Haven't seen one in the Thirft stores since 1993. Miss it now as the games were fun to play.

This was my best Christmas gift ever. My brothers and I wanted one so bad that year. We snuck into Mom's room and discovered it under her bed a few days before Christmas, lol. We were sooo stoked going down stairs that morning! It's funny, Mom must have gotten this same deal in this add because we had the voice, KC's crazy case, and quest for the rings along with our favorite, FOOTBALL!

I still have mines plus the games, talking synthesizer and it all still works.

I still have mine too. Didn't have the one with the talking synthesizer though. I remember playing "Attack of the Timelord" and still loving it even though the in-game speech just sounded like static without the synth thing.

I had the Odyssey 2 when I was a kid. I wish I still did! I really loved games like Monkey Shines, Quest for the Rings, K-C munchkin and so on. I wish Nintendo would make a Wii "ODYSSEY 2" collection game! They can probably fit every game on one disc.

@MiyamotoRules I had 1 too. I traded it to a friend for an Intellivision. In 2001 I went a a little classic gaming collector spree. I ended up with (including 12 other game consoles) another Odyssey 2 (& about 40-50 carts) plus some older Magnavox game consoles. The Odyssey 1, Odyssey 3000 & 4000. BWT, did you know, you CAN play the Odyssey 2 (and almost any/all classic game consoles/PC's right on your computer? You need Emulators. "O2EM" is the Odyssey 2 emulator.

82$ worth of free games, why dosen't the wii offer 82$ of free downloads, i mean we already paid for these old games but no they invented a console that prints money, that's whats wrong about these new consolse that have the ass rape experience of the arcades when they take all youre money.

Wow! We got the system with the voice for Christmas (82?). The voice thing was beyond stupid. I think we had only like 2 games it even worked with. A year or two later Odyssey went under. We loved the Football! though.
