Madhuri has a way of putting her entire self into expressions and conveys the emotions spot-on and with infectious energy and universailty (to me she is the best dancer). In comparison, Rekha may seem to do just the minimum. However, Rekha's speciality is subtleness in eye expression (she is more expressive with her feet and hand movement during dance). Her eye movements aren't exaggerated like Aish's and aren't as involving as Madhuri's. Still, it is not poor, just different.

Madhuri would've done justice to the role in JP Dutta's version better than Ash (she's a better dancer and would've been able to emote better).However to say she would do better than Rekha, when Rekha immortalized this role, is juvenile.I think even Madhuri herself would say don't say such things have respect!!!
