God, this show bites the big one so hard. Lame puns, unfunny jokes, sleep-inducing skits. It's just horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE, every way you look at it! His theme song sucks. Everything about this show just SUCKS! Michael Feldman's show kicks Garrison's ugly old ASS! Please make this piece of crap go away. It RUINS every single weekend on NPR. And while we're at it, I could live without his stupid Writer's Almanac, too.
Garrison Keillor is a mean-spirited homophobe. And a hypocrite at that- married 3 times and smugly lecturing gays on what marriage is all about. Look up his nasty column in Salon 'Stating the Obvious,' & Dan Savage's hilarious take down.
He's truly a terrible person.
Alnd that creepy obscene caller voice. Yikes! Delighted that he's leaving NPR.
I never saw a stray dog or cat until I moved to Las Vegas. The baddest place on the planet, and that's what shocked me the most -- all those homeless pets.
Thank you. This song with simple words reflects, so well, how I have often felt since my partner died. My taste for things that once seemed so fine now are dull. I miss you Silver.
Sometimes the way things used to be are the ways things could, and often should be. A Prarie Home Companion represents that more than any other show I can think of. It calls to rememberance a time when families didn't stare at a box like zombies tuned into a stream of images, but listened...and shared time together...looking at each-other, laughing and enjoying time as a family, instead of as an individual.
anyone involved in politics are the same. what ever will put money in their pocket determines if they are liberal or something else..very apparent you have the wool pulled over your eyes as do a large number of Americans.. conservative and liberal camps are the trouble, and eventual downfall of our country
sounds like tom waits.

Isn't Keillor descended of one of the "Galleon Boys" who crewed on the Pilgrim's ship?

This guy is so talented.. I'd like a cd with only his songs on it, or at least primarily his. Anything like that in existance?

I think when man's long gone and aliens find this planet, they'll find this clip and think that humans got something right.

@samoht21 They made their list, they checked it twice and they definitely know who's been naughty or nice. Believe.
