  • I have crohn's disease and live in michigan! I did get approved to use medical marijuana, but only in cali, but I hope Michigan passes it this Nov as it looks like it will! I was busted, but was able to have all charges dropped after I showed up with the federaIly approved MArinol pill of THC! I would die without smoking it as I feel better with hunger pains then eating food! I would rather have me ruin my life this way then be in jail and die slowly! This topic is scary 4me!

    peaceouty!

    TAMMpON

  • ...you suck...

  • "I'm not gay, just curious... Ok, that's all."

It ended too fast when the subject became homosexuality... He seemed nervous. XD

  • Hey Ian, the way you talk about the poem means more to me than the poem which felt a little contrived. Go with those memories and don't get stuck into expressing them with too much abstraction. I hope we hear more of your poetry though

    Sarah x

  • Um... what are you taking marajuana for? Being crazy. Your poems aren't really good thought.

  • I thought that everyone who worked at ground zero was coming up with cancer now???

  • It's Arthur Rimbaud, or either Emile Nelligan

  • ..."Oh no get off of me! I feel his massive presence..its dinner time" Its my father in my room he has come to stick his cock up my ass again!!!!!!

  • lol, that was funny!

  • Haha..."Oh no get off of me! I feel his massive presence..its dinner time"

  • How does depression get you a bloody card.

Weed is a depressant. I've been depressed for years, where is my card.

  • Weed makes you feel good, thus, it eases the unhappiness that comes from depression. It doesn't cure depression, but eases the symptoms. Chances are if you're depressed, first thing you do is turn off the fucking TV and stop thinking about stuff. That's step one to ending depression.

  • i love mike campochiaro

  • I want one of those cards!

    And your book. ;)

  • wtf was that?? I feel like cutting myself now and I'm NOT emo!!

Anyways, am i the only lady out there who watched this because he's Hot?

  • hmmm that second poem was interesting

what do you think it meant, in retrospect?

  • I'd love to publish your book... but I don't have the means ;)! -Melanie

  • people need to upload more clips like this. I prefer funnier stuff myself, check out dolphinhump. lostfrog . com , I laughed so hard I got kicked out of class! haha.

  • Hey put a shirt on,then we'll talk.

And by the way,why would you need a marjuana card?

Are you diseased or are you just sayin' that to get da puff. Because there is a such thing as "INSIDE JOBS",just ask Bush about Iraq or look back in our history about the CIA's "SECRET WARS". But bleh,if you gotta smoke the stuff...that's your life, not mine.

I just suggest you be careful, there is a such thing as FRAUD.

  • Ian, I love the poems. It's fun going back and reading poems, journals from years past. It's like getting to know the person you were. Or maybe writing poetry is like speaking to your future self who might be able to understand. I would read the book! People are way to concerned about the medical marijuana card too...who cares? If you're spending time making videos about why the card is fake, you should just get high instead...

  • It was great to hear that you are gay curious. Because it shows that people are not so narrow minded! Iam still afraid to say that I am gay to my father, and you just showed your poem to him and he thought it was hillarious! You are lucky!

  • This card law is ridiculous. If the pot use is legal under the Compassionate Use Act, then the card is superfluous. The law admits this by saying the card is optional. It's only function seems to be to prevent police from arresting innocent people. It's like needing a card for my Lopressor to prove that a doctor told me to take it. Ridiculous.

  • Anyone interested in the truth regarding Ian's "medical marijuana card" is welcome to view the video on my channel - I recorded a conversation with a woman from the company who issued Ian's card.

  • oh my god.. melted people.. i can't stand thinking of dead people it freaks me out.

  • you should write about your sept 11 experiences-- your description of the bones was striking...

  • LMAO MEDICAL WEED YO ARE A FUNNY GUY

  • I'll buy your book!

  • your web site SUCKS. Stop wacking off when you do your videos and post content. oh, yea, YOU fucking SUCK!!!

  • I'm waiting for the train wreck... been waking a few months now.

  • that winter poem was the worst poem i could have ever heard in my entire life

  • dont cut yur hair ohh big big big big mistake... did you know the aiens transmitt though the strains of yur hur?

  • you just said it's published.

of course you're on autopilot... so that's not true

  • And by the way Ian, THIS is what the LEGAL Medical Marijuana Identification Card issued by the State of California looks like:

    dhs(dot)ca(dot)gov/mmp/Forms/Cards/MMIC_Sample(dot)pdf

  • *blinkblink* ....

  • I want one of those cards!! To bad I live in Kansas- haha

Anyways- I don't know how to respond to your poetry- the 9/11 stuff- that's a sad day. I posted one of my poems on youtube... I wrote it all out by hand... You should give it a look. But what are the odds of you seeing this message and reading it all the way through-when ya got 300 Plus comments

  • I read all the comments from my newer videos

  • why the hell do you need medical marijuana???? thats just an excuse to get high...

  • seems that ian wanted a medical marajuana card, not becuase he is depressed, but becuase he is a pothead who will go to any lengths to get weed. and he uses this excuse of "depression" to legitimize it becuase he knows he cannot make a video about how he duped the system and now can get it any time, legitimatly, by lying to his doctor. its pathetic. and sad and an abuse of the program.

  • Ian's marijuana card and use is not legitimate under CA state law and I made a video proving it.

  • Are you trying to say Marijuana isn't bad for you while other drugs are?

  • did you add your commentary to all of your poems? check out Alesiter Crowleys book. THE BOOK OF LIES... it is just that...

  • lol damn 'homosexuality' thats a fucking goldmine.

wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!! makes me wanna buy it. right ... smoke another joint and think about your curiosity.

  • wow.... i'm never eating grahm crackers again.

  • Get a job Hippie. And take a shower while you are at it.

  • I maid a veedeo response dude...

BTW can i come live with you PLEASE i need medical marijuana

  • i live in san francisco where we have 4 medical marijuna pharmacys that you can openly walk into with your card. also did you know if you ever get too sick and you cant make it to teh pharmacy you can have a care giver (friend or whom ever) registered and they can go buy your medicine at the ultra low bulk prices. I know b/c I've been a medical marijuana user for the past 4 years.

  • Wow, that's some awful trippy poetry.

  • WOW! You really are a Retarded Drug User. I always knew you were into drugs. What? A medical Marijuana card makes you different from the normal street druggie? Get a life. BetterBadNews did a great story on you. Suited you to a "T".

  • Ian doesn't have the legal medical marijuana card. I made a video about the card he has, check it out.

  • "sometimes people wanna think that i'm lying about things, but i'm not lying about things....the book is published...it hasn't happened yet" Quick, give him the most truthful human ever award stat! Ian is awesome, its like watching a retarded and drug-fucked chimpanzee brain transplanted into a cute human body. I want one for x-mas!

  • You are one

  • And by the way Ian, THIS is what the LEGAL Medical Marijuana Identification Card issued by the State of California looks like:

    dhs(dot)ca(dot)gov/mmp/Forms/Cards/MMIC_Sample(dot)pdf

  • some people use pot to enhance their art. he uses it to enhance his stupid.

  • LOL

  • "it came out of me" - a lot of stuff comes out of people, most of it human waste in some form or other

  • Which smells like CRACKERS?

Sweet JESUS. Go comit yourself you effing pot head.

  • try lulu online publishing

  • Michelle5451 ???? Why you spamming comments make a video damn.

  • pretty cool dude :)

  • Dude, I went to college, half my friends wrote great novels, books of short stories and poetry, probably people a lot smarter than you, and more interesting. NOT ONE GOT PUBLISHED, so good luck with that. Again I have to say lay off the coke, acid and shrooms. POT doesnt do that. Anyway keep pluggin away. If you win the lottery maybe your 5th or 6th book will get published.

  • Wow. Does anyone else get the sense that Ian may be one of those people who takes pictures of his poo, whenever it seems exceptionally large, or unusually shaped? And then shows the pics to others? "The Smell of Poo"...

  • Awesome comment...You hit the nail on the head...lol. dude's disturbed...Man, If this dork can get a medical marijuana card, so can I ...I'm moving to Cali. from Ohio, damnit!

  • i do that sometimes

  • Ode to unemployment.

  • Soylent Green is.....

    GRAHM CRACKERS!!!!! :-O

  • Ian my good friend owns a bublishing company, they only publish fiction, it is common knowledge in the biz that poetry is the least likely to get published. You be better off trying to self publish it.

  • Ian, I just spoke with the company that issues the card you held up in this video. The nice lady I spoke with explained the company to me. She said that card does not prevent you from getting arrested. That card simply identifies you as a client of theirs. She said that card has nothing to do with the legal aspect of the law and that you must have the MMIC (which you don't) to avoid legal problems. You are either a pathological liar or deeply confused, which is it?

  • I'm gonna go with clueless and ignorant.

  • But wait -- did you ask why the law doesn't come crashing down on this company for illegally selling marijuana? Nah, you probably didn't bother.

  • That company doesn't illegally sell marijuana. To purchase marijuana a person must have the MMIC card, issued by the state - their own words. Also, they are simply a referral company run by a group of Doctors. Super, please at least do your own research as I have, call them yourself, get the facts, talk to them. That green card Ian held is nothing more than a membership card. The company that issued it is a subscription based referral company, not retailers of pot.

  • Christ, I really don't care. Whether he buys it from the state, a private company or the friendly neighborhood dealer, he's still gonna' get high whenever he wants. What does it matter? I think you're coming at him so hard because you don't like him. Or weed. Or both. Fine, you have a major issue with the weed card. We get it. Now why won't you just scamper off with your well-earned, obsessive victory?

  • Sorry you feel that way. I have no issues with weed or the card. I hope those who need it get it; I hope it eases their pain and suffering. I do care very much when irresponsible people lie about having the card for "depression" when they don't even have the card and pot is not legally prescribed in CA for depression. I'm simply taking a stand against a proven liar and my apologies for that being so troubling for you.

  • I accept your apology.

  • So, you got a card that says you can just fuck off everyday and not even TRY to become a productive member of society -- CONGRATULATIONS... I don't know if you are a liar or not, but you are DEFINITELY an idiot...

  • LOL! Dinner time in prison... you were someones bitch!

  • hahahah i love all these haters... ITS THE INTERNET... stop taking it so seriously.

Ian is being himself, but for all YOU know he could be sayin stuff just to get you pissed, and in doing so, PWNING YOU

    LOL INTERNET

  • Is this guy a joke?

  • Is he famous? I saw him at Stream sth...sth

I can't remember the name of that website

    I saw him with TheHill88...?

  • dude... if you seriously want these to be published, you'll need to edit them. Or at least like....read them all again after they've been sitting around all this time. Poetry is like any other written art, it takes self-editing, then professional editing before publication.

  • But then you would be interfering with Ian's verbal freshness and purity. Courageous genius is not subject to editing. Not to mention you're stepping on his millisecond attention span.

  • Dude my attention span is massive.

  • Right. You can make it through an entire joint without stopping.

Follow through on any other thing you've ever vowed to do...well, not so much.

  • "Fucking guys all day long, I come in all their asses." I'm sure you'll find someone who will publish your "book". Yeah and I'm sure your day enjoys these also.

  • LOL

  • Ian may be gaining command of his life... he washed his hair.

  • The comments here have become more interesting and active than the videos.

  • haha!! Maybe you should lay down all the weed.. You are so far out..

  • I don't know what's funnier, the video or the comments.

  • Ian, you're so TACTLESS!

Watch what you're saying about people's family members at Ground Zero.

    Shithead.

  • It WAS almost six years ago. When is it going to start being okay to talk about this without worrying about who you're going to offend?

  • Good point, but I think this issue will be offending people for a long long time.

  • Matthew, what if you're mother or father would be in there and he's talking about their dead melting limbs?

    Come on.

  • Jeez, what do you think happens to people when they die? They turn into f**king dirt. Everybody does. There's nothing to be sensitive about.

  • Why not?

  • Everybody dies eventually, whether they turn into molten goo or whatever. It's like eating, sleeping, breathing, etc. By the time they're goo, there's nothing left. Period. No soul, no nothing. So I don't see any reason against talking about them.

I was just brought up to believe that a dead body is nothing particularly special, that's all.

  • I was brought up to think differently.

I was brought up to respect people, alive or dead.

I'm not going to disrespect you so please do not disrespect me.

  • Spend 10 years reading and writing poetry, then maybe you'll write something good.

  • "every now and again ego would take over"? you have no idea what is your ego and what isn't (if there is anything about you that isnt ego...). is your homo poem written from what you think gays in denial are like i.e "i'm just curious, wait a minute here comes another guy"?! or is it from your perspective. if so, you will take the cock at some point. guys are physically disgusting, women are spiritually disgusting. oh well.

  • BOOOOOOOO

    HISSSSSSS

  • Lol.

  • hehee

  • what is gram crackers?

  • I'm happy for you that you are getting your book published. I'd be interested to know what other poems it contains.

  • Death smells like graham crackers.

  • I light matches and hold them til they burn smells like cookies and snowballs He's so big so massive he's on me he's in me his eyes... good thing I'm not gay not gay SWM late 20s seeks big gay guy for BDSM/hot wax but I'll be pretending you're a girl, because as I said I'm not gay I think your target audience of homosexual arsonists is too small.
  • I live for Danno21F's posts.

  • Ian fuckin killed and buried thedakkster with proving that he had that card, fucking awesome, i really ahte that weasly, boring idiot swede (im the cool swede, he is the boring shiet)

  • läs michelle5451s kommentarer i denna tråden, ditt efterblivna jävla miffo

  • Holy crap... you went to college? Ask for your money back... you were robbed!

  • ahahahahaha!!! I'm sorry, Ian. But that was funny.

  • Ian you should read Raymond Carver (american writer and poet, died in the late 80s).

I think you'd like his non-style and his absolute purity.

  • Ian is just the same kind of thing as daxflame or lonelygirl, only it's mostly improvised not scripted.

  • And by the way Ian, THIS is what the LEGAL Medical Marijuana Identification Card issued by the State of California looks like:

    dhs(dot)ca(dot)gov/mmp/Forms/Cards/MMIC_Sample(dot)pdf

  • Slam dunk!

  • why is Ian such a liar?

    lies on top of lies......

  • Duh, It's not called "lying" it's called "Manifesting". Making your own reality by means of the things you say. If you don't like something just say that it's not true. It's not a "Lie". Jeesh! Get with the program! :)

  • Well ian since depression is not on michelle5451 list.

and la does not issue those card. there are three things

that could be. 1) you have a fake card 2) you got that card in a diffrent county with a fake reason or 3) you got it in a different county and the real reason you got the card is for hiv. well since you write so called poems that have to do with Fn guys in the butt.

  • or d) it's just a fake fucking card that doesn't even resemble the official card issued by the state. Knowing the card is not called MM LA, but that is what is on the card Ian held up, and that the card IS called an MMIC, I found a pic of the official card. This pic is posted on the webstate for the California Department of Health Services, the agency that issues the cards.

    dhs(dot)ca(dot)gov/mmp/Forms/Cards/MMIC_Sample(dot)pdf

  • medicalmarijuanaoflosangeles(dot)com here is the link to the MMLA program that ian signed up for. its still wrong no place can i find anything about depression being a reason to get a card. State laws says nothing about depression.

  • Thanks for finding that. That is not the official or legally recognized MMP program nor does law enforcement accept that card; it means nothing. If you read through that site, you'll see they're basically just a private service providing guidance and documentation to help a person PREPARE to apply for the official card. A link on that very site confirms LA County does not issue the State endorsed, legal card.

  • Perhaps he is under the impression that this is an officially recognized card?

  • Of course that's possible, but I spoke with this company today. The woman made it very clear they are a private referral company whose sole purpose is to refer patients to Drs and to help in the MMIC application process, and that the card Ian has is nothing more than a membership card to that comapany's services. She also made it clear no one can purchase pot from a sanctioned clinic without the state MMIC card.

  • I can't imagine they didn't make that clear to him as well. Perhaps he was told this, but was hoping to manifest a different reality. If fact it would appear that's exactly what happened.

  • Before I go there was something I wanted to say

There's a lot youtube clowns, that are so fucking gay

That's 1 of the reasons why I'm now here

To go after those who attack and smear

The drums are beginning to roll

I'm about to open a can of whoop ass, against the internet troll

    Oh katiesopinion

Please inform your viewers about this Minion!!!

No worries, I'm not But I still think that you're kinda hot Bored here I sit Spent about 10 minutes, writing this piece of shit Oh katiesopinion U whiny, bitchy, Minion You're probably thinkin' that I'm one hell of a man And wanna whack me in the head with a fryin pan
  • Dear Katiesopinion

    Showing off those perky boobs

Your boyfriend was bragging about banging a MILF

He was as happy as a pig, rolling around in its own filth

Me however I prefer to go after the GILF

  • you can do better ian. fuckin eat something , and responsd to my message, so much for communication, EVERYONE CHECK OUT MY VIDS

  • They had to get a BS Dr. to make up a fake reason. if i remember right it was for some kinda pain. im gonna have to go to the site and look up the reasons and see what i find. I'm pretty sure you are wrong, if you could get a card for depression half the ppl i know would have a card. I used to smoke pot for about a year but i think what you are doing really hurts ppl that need pot for real reasons. ppl i know that been smoking pot since high school are pretty brain dead now.

  • Oh Ian, what a scam. I just called Hollywood Division of LAPD, spoke with Officer Aliva and he confirmed Medical Marijuana Cards are not issued in Los Angeles County nor are they accepted as legal there, but he did mention fake cards are easy obtain and if a person is found with one on them, they are immediately arrested. They were very interested in the story I had to tell them about you.

  • I bet you were a tattle in school. :P I love it. Way to do your homework girl! I was about to stop watching but I might hang around a little while longer.

  • lol Naw, I wasn't a tattle in school, I was the one doing things to be tattled on. It's just that bullshit like this is what ruins that program for those who NEED it. When people like Ian run around getting fake cards and saying a Dr. prescribed pot to treat his depression whent that's not even legal, Ian is destroying this useful program that was designed to help people in pain, etc. Well that, and I worked for LAPD many years ago - I kinda sorta respect the law.

  • It's all good. I'm glad you checked it out. enjoyed your Matthew Shepherd vid, too. You rock!

  • Michelle, draw a line under it, christsake. He's not the anti christ...get off his back. It's like a one woman mission to destroy him or something.

  • Linsay, I offered to provide you with my explanations, you failed to respond. This tells me you're not interested in the answer to the question you asked, but are interested only in defending this liar. It might help you to consider me as I consider you - totallly inconsequential.

  • Right, I am now drawing a line under this, Michelle. You're right, though, people on YouTube, including myself, ARE completely inconsequential to you and you life. That's a given. It might be good for you to remember that when you're laying into Ian with such zeal. As for your response-I am sorry-I did not see it. p.s. I don't think Ian is lying-I think there are plenty of Dr. Feelgoods out there who will give you what you want for dubious 'ailments'.

  • Right, I've taken a look at your earlier posts. Thank you for that, Michelle. I don't think Ian owes us anything but it will be interesting to see how he explains this. Not that he owes me or anyone on here an explanation.

  • I believe he owes it to himself and those who believe in him to stop lying. I believe he owes it to society to stop saying child abuse doesn't happen or that sex with a child isn't wrong. I believe he owes it to victims of domestic violence to not encourage them to remain with and try to change their abuser. If you want to take me to task for standing up for what is right and decent, you are welcome to.

  • Oh, no, I think those are all honourable causes.

  • Right on! Maybe the police should start watching youtube videos....

  • (A) To ensure that seriously ill Californians have the right to obtain and use marijuana for medical purposes where that medical use is deemed appropriate and has been recommended by a physician who has determined that the person's health would benefit from the use of marijuana in the treatment of cancer, anorexia, AIDS, chronic pain, spasticity, glaucoma, arthritis, migraine, or any other illness for which marijuana provides relief.

  • That sounds an awful lot like the campaign text of a special interest group, Ian.

  • From the law itslef: (1) AIDS. (2) Anorexia. (3) Arthritis. (4) Cachexia. (5) Cancer. (6) Chronic pain. (7) Glaucoma. (8) Migraine. (9) Persistent muscle spasms... (10) Seizures... (11) Severe nausea. (12) Any other chronic or persistent medical symptom that either: (A) Substantially limits the ability of the person to conduct one or more major life activities... (B) If not alleviated, may cause serious harm to the patient's safety or physical or mental health.
  • Commenteer, you left out the most important qualification for (A) in that it specifies any other illness as defined by the Americans with Disabilies Act. The ADA also does not mention "depression," and therefore, it can't even be slipped into that list via creative interpretation.

  • First, the ADA says 'The term "disability" means, with respect to an individual, "a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of the major life activities of such individual,"' and second, 12 is an either/or, A or B. A doctor can drive a truck through this.

  • A Dr. can drive all he wants through it, the State has final say over who gets the card, and they aren't given for depression. The state reviews the patients entire medical records, the doesn't tell the state who gets the card. The state goes by the law. Depresion isn't covered under this law.

  • Also, it is interesting that <i>you</i> left 12 out of your summary of the law, as I see now.

  • I left out because I KNEW people would not understand that it does NOT include depression. The STATE not a DOCTOR has say in who gets that card. The STATE does not issue that card for depression. The ADA does not include depression in their description of what a disability is.

  • Wow, I have 3 on that list and do not WANT marijuana because I have been there, done that and learned that lesson for myself. I am nutty enough without any mind altering substance. Thank you for posting this list theCommenteer! *standing ovation* !!! :)

  • You're welcome. I wasn't going to comment here anymore, but when there's factual to clear up, I probably will. Clearly, a doctor in California is allowed to prescribe marijuana for depression if such doctor sees fit to do so. Clearly.

  • Yes, I have had that offered to me from a doctor and I refuse to do it. Thankfully. Plus I was informed that they (The State of California) are trying to increase the price of the REAL cards so that there is no mistaking them from the counterfeit ones that are floating around. Sad that people who really NEED it are going to have to pay big bucks because of the people who cannot be honest.

  • The official cards are optional. And the best course for any MJ smoker is discretion, anyway. And, I think I read somewhere that the price increase was scrapped. I also read somewhere that LA County did approve the issuance of cards last year, though I don't know if they are actually being issued. Michelle may also be lying about that for all I know, in addition to her lie of omission regarding "12."

  • TheCom, I have lied about nothing; you are the one who omitted the ADA stuff. I provided proof the cards are not currently issued in LA County. Having possession of that card in order to legally purchase or possess marijuana is not optional, it is required. Ian is a liar and I've proved that on here by providing information.

  • From the law itself, "(f) It shall not be necessary for a person to obtain an identification card in order to claim the protections of Section 11362.5."

  • It might help you to understand the difference between arrested and prosecuted. Carrying a Dr.'s note along with your pot is not going to prevent you from being arrested in CA. I suggest you watch the video I made regarding this.

  • "(b) Every county health department...shall do all of the following:(1) Provide applications upon request to individuals seeking to join the identification card program.

    (2) Receive and process completed applications in accordance with Section 11362.72.(3) Maintain records of identification card programs...(5) Issue identification cards developed by the department to approved applicants and designated primary caregivers."

  • This part you copied here has nothing to do with the conversation. theComm, again I encourage you, if you truly believe simply carrying a Dr.s note or the green card Ian has will keep you from being arrested, record that conversation with the LAPD confirming your claim.

  • That IS sad. Maybe we can chip in for those people through a PayPal button on Ian's site.

  • theCommenteer, you're missing something here. A Doctor can write any prescription he wants. In order to the MMIC card, the State has the final word. The State does not issue those cards to people with depression. The State reviews a person's medical records, not a just a note from the Doctor. The State does not approve or issuse that card for depression.

  • The law says it is not necessary to have a state-issued card.

  • Then it wasn't CA State law you read. I suggest you read it again. Also, the company that issued the card Ian held up even said that a patient must carry the MMIC to be legal. To believe you would mean the state law, the LAPD and the company who issued Ian that membership card are all lying.

  • Assuming that 1-11 are a wash, Ian's rationale is based on 12(A) (cannot function in major life activities unless stoned) or 12(B) (will become insane or physically injure self unless stoned).

    Compelling.

  • ROFL yes quite compelling indeed!

Remember the stories from history when being stoned was literally having rocks thrown at a person until they were dead for punishment of a crime?

Times sure have changed haven't they?

  • That's another question. And the way this thing is written, the doctor gets to answer it.

  • theCom, I think it's funny how you keep assuming the Doctor tells the State who gets that card. A Doctor could precribed pot because I stubbed my toe and the pain isn't going away and leaves me unable to walk; the State isn't going to issue me a card for that.

  • No, the doctor says who can have the pot.

  • Directly from the law: This bill would require the State Department of Health Services to establish and maintain a voluntary program for the issuance of

identification cards to qualified patients and would establish procedures under which a qualified patient with an identification card may use marijuana for medical purposes.

  • Yes. "Voluntary." The card is not required. (2) With respect to individuals, the identification system

established pursuant to this act must be wholly voluntary, and a

patient entitled to the protections of Section 11362.5 of the Health

and Safety Code need not possess an identification card in order to

claim the protections afforded by that section."

  • Voluntary means the state cannot mandate all medical pot smokers to have the card.
