I hate how they added kill cams and regenerating health, I mean come on guys this is battlefield not CoD. CoD and battlefield are suposed to be two completly different games! Hopefully more game types like hardcore mode with no health regen less ammo and definatly no kill cams! How ever it is still top on my list for Q1 games :)

It's as simple as it sounds. First BF game was 2002. First Medal of Honor 1999. First CoD game was 2003.

Call of Duty has never came up with a single original thing. The whole franchise is just ideas taken from Battlefield and Medal of Honor and piled in to one large mainstream clusterfuck that for some odd reason has fanboys jizzing in their pants left right and centre.

at about 1:30 in this film right at top there is a plane, a quite large plane, a plane that the bombs do not drop out of. It is also in 3:51 where you can clearly see its a plane, Anybody know what it is? my guess is like you parachute out of it which would be SO AWESOME

That is indeed a plane you parachute out of :) It's been confirmed that you start the game by parachuting out of the planes, or at least the attackers do. It'll fly by at intervals and you can chose to parachute off the plane as a spawn instead of spawning by your squad/captured base.

If the first MP trailer is anything to go by, snipers now call in airstrikes by jets, rather than the JDAM drop. I'm assuming the time interval between being able to shoot down the airstrikes will be longer too.

Fucking kill cams need to go. Never ever want a kill cam. The first game was perfect because at best you could get a general idea of where you were killed from. Now it just shows your fucking killer and where they are. Just great.

Bad Company is rated T for alcohol reference, strong language, and violence. Add blood and gore to the mix and we're likely looking at an M rating for BC2. And for the record, deathmatch in a battlefield game is like sex in the bible. Not because it happens more than you'd expect, but because it just doesn't go well together.

they are creative. so far they confirmed to have Rush mode and conquest. i think there will a third surprise!

ya i know that they might seem alike but if you played MW1 and BFBC1 you would know that two "modern war multiplayer games" cannot be more different than those 2.

BFBC is heavely vehicule based with big maps and varied action and medium-slow paced. in BF teamwork was the key to victory and its really a tactical game

cod4 is fast paced with no vehicule, small maps and instant and raw action. pure killfest for everyone to enjoy. 1 player could make the team and teamwork wasnt that important

I think it'll be the same.. because the sniper rifle that was in the World War 2 was not too accurate... modern weapons are much powerful and more accurate... I think the quickscope will stay and it does take skill.. not just camping, it's walking around with actually letting the people see you and have the chance to kill you...

modern weapon might be stronger but so are armor, no sniper as or will ever 1hko in the chess for a BF(unless they decide to screw up the game)

i have been at E3 and quickscope are dead the bullet dont come out till the scope is fully up or no scope at all

BFBC1 is one of my favorite games, that's the game that I used to quickscope in.. and the quickscope is when you scope so quickly with estimating the center of the screen to be more accurate.. am getting used to BF 1943 sniping, I'm getting that hang of these changes.

Many, many times I have gotten one hit kills to the body with the M24 and the M95. So that is not necessarily true.

Bolt action sniper in BF are quite wierd.

at long range they kill to the head only(unless the target is damaged)

at short range(less than 30 meters) they will kill 1 shot anywere in the body including the tip of the feet

note that the 30 meter is an estimation there is no official stat.

so if you did a 1hko you target was in close range or it was already damage and didnt heal(the red dot over the eniemie head disapear with time but they can still be wounded)

most of the time a spotted sniper is a dead sniper so not that helpfull, youll get raped by a noob regen or not, if you try to hide he'll run after you

also it might make you job harder because in bfbc1 sniper main target were non-selfhealing infantry but now you need to get 2 shot in a row(very hard for most player because people fail at aiming in games)

or get an headshot(nearly impossible for the average player if target is moving its 100% luck)

However skilled sniper will rule the world

hopefully yes, but remember that 1shot kill in bad company1 could only be acheived in close-medium range were SMG and assault rifle could tear you up in seconds.

a skilled sniper could easly manage to survive in such place but only few tired this more risky tactic. most sniper took the same spot over and over again, far from the battlefield missing alot of kills because landing 2 shot was hard at that distance, they made easy knife targets =)

ya thats why i hated playing as a sniper, you get a bad reputation if your good because quicscope was way to overpowered. even if you made clean non-quickscope shot people hated you

i hated quickscope because it didnt take much skill(it did take skill but not that much) and it was unfair. glad they took it out of BFBC2. now you cant shoot till the scope is completely up so no more quickscope kill/death ratio whores =)
