Gary West... his voice has always been my favorite, Shooting Star, 3 Wishes, and Hang on for Your Life, were and still are my most fav. albums. Every song on those three albums is incredible. I also loved that this band integrated the violin into their music! LOVE!

Unreal....been following this band since the late 70's and have everything they have ever made...Gary, Van and the boys, are one of the most under-rated bands of all time...As one can see by this video, they still kick ass after 30 years...Just unreal the memories that I have w/ the band...Seen them so many times throughout their career and my life...Still listen to them everyday and will continue to for as long as I live...Train Rolls On...

Van McClain said in an interview that prior to Gary leaving the band back in the 80's, he became so disgruntled with being micro-managed by the band's label that he rebelled by wearing his pajamas all the time- including on stage. I imagine that his choice of wardrobe for this performance was done out of nostalgia. Gary West, aka Gary Hodgden- one of the greatest rock voices ever... owns a radon detection company now.
