because the suction is so good on a Dyson, you will inherently have the problem of ''short hose''. It would be easy to stretch if the suction is poor.

You need to get a real nice hose extention for it like I did.I got a 14 ft tru hose extention from Mike Haleys vac.The hose kit came with a nice storage bag and all of the attachments you need.The hose is fully extented and coils up very easy.He has videos of it on you tube.I highly recommend it.I love to use it all the time for stairs and dusting.The hose will fit the Dyson and Panasonic vacuums.They have the same euro size hoses.

The hose doesnt stretch very well on that dc25.If you have it on the bottum of the stairs it does ok.Most Dysons have this issue.

I just bought this and the hose is a BIG problem. It doesn't want to stretch at ALL. It's a constant 'pull' even when stretched a mere 10 inches. 

I was hoping this would better with time but I'm thinking it won't. If it doesn't improve, I'll never use it but standard vacuuming which is a shame.
