She has been playing piano since she was 4 and is classically trained. She even attended Tisch School of Arts at NYU. Plus she has a discplined voice (she trained with Don Lawrence at a young age). and that's just her MUSICAL talent! @SadisticStang "Shittiest music ever made" is an opinion not a fact (she does have 5 grammys...) but if you don't like pop music then it's true you're not going to enjoy her music very much; that's all there is to it. however, maybe you would be interested in some of her older stuff when she was much more acoustic rock n' roll pop than electronic mainstream. It would certainly be harder for someone with less money to get her *education*, but she worked her way to the top without her parents help. In fact she was quite broke for a long time. As for her piano skills, perhaps she is not the world's best piano player but she that doesn't mean she isn't skilled or educated. And how do you know she cant play mozart?

If most people could afford singing and piano lessons they would be just as good. Her farther paid her rent for a year when she dropped out of college that is help! during a french tv performance she was asked to play something classical she said maybe i wont play classical (because she cant) and ended up playing less than 20 secounds of scott joplins maple leaf rag.

Yes, her father did pay 4 her rent, but he did not help her w/her music or aid her in climbing up the ladder.Her determination&talent did that. &the reason she didn't play a classical piece is probably bcuz she didnt have 1 memorized! She does not regularly play classical music, but that does not mean she wasnt classically trained. She did show her skill on piano on that show, just not classical.
