Magyar Posses's name comes from one of the cheapest wine you can find from the Finnish shops. The wine is simply called "Magyar". Posse is just a Finnish word that menas "group" or something like that.

'Magyar Posse' is the music band's name: it means the 'Hungarian gang' - they are Finns, so they love Hungarians, I guess...and we Hungarians love them back:)

I think "Magyar" comes from the name of a popular cheap white wine that is sold here in Finland. They probably used to drink a lot of it and contemplate depressing thoughts.
