It's definitely one of his most philosophical films. I have to say, though, my favourite is probably one of his nastiest (with none of the optimism that this final scene has) - 'Deconstructing Harry'.

He will always be remembered for Annie Hall, but Crimes and Misdemeanors is his real masterpiece. A perfect film from start to finish. Thank you for posting this.
Annie Hall will always be my favorite but this is definitely in my Top 5 Woody Allen flicks. I liked Match Point, too, I thought it was an interesting new take on the story.
