Huckabee is hiding his horrible, horrible record behind his religion, while he's saying all the right things and backs the conservative movement, but he pardoned 1033 criminals, 12 of which were murderers (can anyone say Wayne Dumond?), he taxed Arkansas into billions of dollars of deficit, he received millions of dollars in gifts, he doesn't believe in evolution, he wanted to put people with AIDs into quarantine YEARS after it was learned AIDs isn't contagious, he wants tuition for illegals.

- accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of "gifts" through the position of his office
- tax increases, and more taxes
- socialized everything
- more and ever expanding welfare programs
- plenty of pardons for rapists, murderers and other violent criminals

Huckabee is hiding his horrible, horrible record behind his religion, while he's saying all the right things and backs the conservative movement, but he pardoned 1033 criminals, 12 of which were murderers (can anyone say Wayne Dumond?), he taxed Arkansas into billions of dollars of deficit, he received millions of dollars in gifts, he doesn't believe in evolution, he wanted to put people with AIDs into quarantine YEARS after it was learned AIDs isn't contagious, he wants tuition for illegals.

Seems to me that it is to everyone's benefit that we have a President who is knowledgeable, rational, consistent, well educated (especially in law, science, and economics), and honest. Suggest anyone read the Wikipedia articles on Ron Paul and on Mike Huckabee, and decide which you think best fits that description. Seems REAL CLEAR when you study the histories, education, experiences, and words of each man.

I consider myself a republican but first and foremost I'm an American. people are forgetting that. Our country is split and it scares me. Huckabee is a middle road candidate and a eloquent speaker. we need a leader who can unite us and I believe its him we dont need Hillary or Gulliani because neather could unite our country both pander to their parties Huckabee stands for what he stands for I admire that.

I like Huckabee for his refreshing folksy charm, however, Huckabee pardoned over 1000 criminals while in office (including 12 murderers). Huckabee supported and CURRENTLY supports tuition benefits for illegal aliens payed for by taxpayers. I'm sorry, but we can't have the Huckster as our president, he's still a good man, but his record is horrible. We need to look at other possible Repub candidates.

I don't see what the big deal is about him being in a rock band, but it is definitely a huge negative to real conservative christians. I'm atheist are really couldn't care less.
My dad went from supporting him to supporting Ron Paul because rockers "are into drugs and tatoos" it "just doesn't make sense" for a Christian man to be a rocker.
