See here's my problem with the whole "Champion" situation... why the hell wasn't Barca in the running? I mean, first it was Gannicus, Oenomaus (sp?), and Barca... then Auctus and Barca... then Crixus and Barca... Seriously, I'm wondering why he even stuck around if only to be second runner up. Maybe it's just me, but he could have a been a true contestant in the race to be champion.

if you pay attention to the show onemaus is the most knowledgable and skilled but crixus is forever the champ spartacus has yet to defeat him in 1 on 1 combat when their both good condition. thus i say Crixus or Onemaus would be the best of the 4

@tricks1991 if ur answring my question i would agree that crixus is the best gladiator, spartacus was lucky how he earned his status. but between the top 4 barely anything seperates them, i just hope some point in spartacus vengeance we will get to see the top 4 sparring with each other in some sort of camp or something to determine who is once and for all not just the champion of capua, but the champion of the world.

@sicknick091 Crixus would be dead if it weren't for Gannicus. It took Crixus a whole season to become a Champion whereas Spartacus killed Theocoles (the greatest gladiator ever) by episode 5. Sure Crixus helped Spartacus by blinding Theocoles, but Crixus already had his intestines spilling out by that point and should have died. The true question of #1 goes to Spartacus and Oenomaus.

@shadymages crixus stabbed a hole through theokles, 1 on 1, spartacus could never do that without theokles being blinded. to be honest i dont think there is a number 1 gladiator out of the 4. there all equally matched. gannicus = the most naturally talented. crixus and oenamaus= the most determind to be champion. spartacus = lucky

thnks, been looking for this fight. after this fight crixus is easily a match for spartacus, i think because of his determination to win that crixus could beat him. i wanna see a 4v4 battle spartacus vs crixus vs gannicus vs onemaus there all equally as good as each other. crixus has killed pericles, spartacus theokles ( by the help of crixus) ganncius killed caberus and onemaus has probably killed some pretty tough guys. also i would like to see caberus vs theokles.
