  • very clear now!!!!!!

  • Parabens!!!

  • i was just wondering, do you really have to pull the clutch in while doing this, my brother did this without the clutch and his bike didn't stall on him, please reply!!

  • @MrMotobros hello dude! It's just a matter of how long and how much hard you tap the brake pedal according to the rear wheel spinning speed and engine rotation level. In some situations, I not only pull the clutch, but also, open the throttle to start increasing the engine rotation at the same time. Doing that, after tapping the brake, causing the front end get lower and then releasing the clutch, the front wheel starts get higher again!!! It's quite common though. Hope it helped! .o/

  • fuck it im gonna try to hit my front brake that will make me land perfectly

  • As easy as it looks, you have to start this thing out easy by doing it on small jumps. I just recently learned this trick about a month ago and now I do it on longer jumps without hesitiation. Patient is your friend on this brake tap trick.

  • post more of these!!!!!

    this is the best.

nobody learns anything by watching guys ride with MUSIC over the bike sound!!!!!!

andrew short has some good tutorial vids...

  • this is the video ive been looking for ... i know its not as easy as it looks

but it will be very helpful thanks for uploading this tutorial

  • Very nice video this is better then twmx !

  • what would happen if you tape the front brakes?

  • @Thirty1United You'd lose the gyroscopic effect of both wheels altogether, meaning you'd have no control over the bike tipping sideways (notice how they use this technique to get the crazy bubba scrubs and angling the bike on it's side in the air, then tipping it back up). There's also a chance you'd faceplant once you land, since your front wheel will skid once it lands) Note that I'm just a theorist, this is just how I think it works.

  • or u can just throw a fat boner air

  • @TexasMotox09 wtf is that? haha

  • very good vid explaining the technique.

  • 4 stroke rocks !!!!!!!! :D:D:D

  • why would you crash if you hit the front brake? That doesn't happen

  • KIDS, remember this! do not buy a 4 stroke ;-)

  • stfu! :D

  • ottimo

  • awesome video

  • lolz

  • this guys voice is like from the tutorial in the spiderman games.. hahaha

  • if you hit the clutch in a high gear when you release it you will stall wont you? because if i hit the clutch in a high gear and stop then release it and go i stall. I have a Honda xr100r 2002. (i know it is a trail bike, it is my first bike and i am currently trying to find a cheap one to get that is motocross)

  • if the rear wheel is still with any gear in the engine will stall, unless you have the clutch pulled in. it's as simple as that. now this is a typical tecnique you really need to learn to master if you ride trial bikes, since there's a lot of stopping while actually riding, if you use your bike it to do trial, so to say.

  • Are you hitting it while in the air? Anyways keep it reved high it'll start spinning again

  • i think a rekluse clutch and handbrake would make it alot easyer to control in the air.......(im thinking of buying one) please reply with your thoughts

  • It might make it easier but you would have no clutch control in corners or anything like that. I say stick with the normal clutch.

  • hey 223 tanner . take your bike turn the gas on and lay it on the side it sounds like your floats areclogged just till the fuel runs out of over flow. if thjat doesnt fix it . take gas line off bottom of tank and blow with air gun from a compresser just aq little bit to free any particals in tank . i hope this work s it should .

  • BUBBA ROCKS! MY SUPER HERO!

  • my bike dies every time i give itfull gas. even when the bike is warmed up. anyone no why

  • is it 2 stroke?

  • Yeah

  • Yes

  • yes

  • @reardon699 Yup

  • @reardon699 cant u see the fat pipe comin out of the engine? of course its a 2 stroke...

  • might want to add when you use this technique to give a quick tap on the gas as you do it...some bikes tend to stall without applying gas with rear brake has happened to me landing with a bike off sucks lol

  • this applies to any bike, slipper clutch or not, 2-stroke or not, if you stop the rear wheel in the air it causes the shock to compress, and when it uncompresses it makes the front end drop

  • Actually it's a gyro effect that causes the front end to drop.

  • is this lake elsinore??looks like iot so much, and at 2:41 it looked like he cased it

  • at 1:20 - 1:25 .

  • when the video starts and they dont talk about clutch,, i say wtf? is that a tutorial which u Learn how to ride the bike or gonna kill u ! and yea that video is perfect...DO NOT PRESS THE REAR BRAKE TO MUCH . just a bid ! look and the video to see it . not to stay on the brake!

  • super, thx

  • this obviously only applies to two strokes..

  • I used to use the front brake in mid air, is that a bad idea? I never had the guts to hit BOTH brakes in mid air...I might try that someday

  • its called seat bouceing its preety hard but once u master it, it feels so great to do and also when he hits hes back break thats just him getting his front end down i do it but i would recomend it on a 4 stroke beacuse it will hurt lots

  • I always did this on my 250f, never landed with a dead engine.

Now I have a 450, and i hit the rearbreak on a table top. flipped over, end of raceday.

Anyone else has this problem with a 450?

  • Why tap with a 450? You only need to let of the gas and the front end comes down. Big engine brake on those bikes.

  • Sometimes the front end takes of too high and my natural response is to hit the rear break.

Maybe I should stop doing that. Thanks

  • Of course you should tap the break if the front end goes to high, just keep it under control =) I usually have some weight on the front to scrub it a little over jumps, don't think i've used the brakes more then 3 times in air during 11 years of riding.

  • Most pro riders these days use slipper clutches, so engine braking isnt an issue anymore.

  • I've heard some use it, but not "most" pro riders. Prove me wrong =)

  • I once practiced at gonerby moor track n a bird came up wiv a yam450f, she had 1 of those clutches and she could push the bike 2 the start in gear without holdin clutch lever in while engines running! whenever she put on throttle it would go! no shit!

  • well i have the same problem but it is with a 250f basiccally if u want an improvment in that... one salution that i have had is buy a hydrolic clutch for youre bike... i had that problem but with the hydrolic clutch it works better. less of that problem.. hope that works!

  • when you tap your rear brake in the air you loose forward momentum..... Gary Baily taught me that about seven or more years ago.

  • thats y u keep the gas goin if u wach justin barcia he is pinned over every little jump type in justin barcia lorreta lynns 08 its pretty sick

  • yeah if you want to blow your bike up early..... he does that because he doesnt give a fuck if his bike blows because he has like 10 more waiting for him. i know this, people know this. if you dont have a factory ride as a amateur you dont pinn it in the all time because most kids dont have 5 other bikes to ride.

  • u aint goin to blow it if u hold it on i mean if u put a new top end in it wit out breaking it in ya but i aint goin to justinpin dat sucker and be in the front so u dont flip

  • This vid is kool it taught me alot

  • what happens if you do tap the front brake?

  • when you land you wash out, just like hitting the front brake when your turning

  • that's only gonna happen if you hold it

  • no, if you tap it it will still wash out because all the wieght goes on the tire and it's not moving fast enough, i've done it on accident before, i washed out

  • face on track ^^ xD

  • is that travis pastrama talking?

  • no.

  • you loose a millasecond every time you do it

  • ohh wow it's better than the 20 seconds lost from a crash and maybe a season from an injury lol

  • haha tomorroy i will try it lol

  • what happens if i use the front brake???

  • hahaha your front end drops and drops and drops and oh shit!!

  • Whats the point in racing or watching motocross if you know james stewart is going to win?

  • yyyeeeaaahh 2 STOKE lol love em

  • grazie mille, lezione importantissima, forse quella dove ho imparato una cosa che veramente non sapevo!

thanks a lot, very great lesson, maybe the one where i learn most

  • hes crazy fast

  • you should only have to tap the rear brake when you seat bounce other then that you should be able to do it with body strength

just gotta get the elbows up its easy

  • thnks that really helps nice vid

  • just scrub the jump and dont bother with the break.. its faster

  • can you do that. i dont think so

  • y not

  • u should make a vid of it that would be kool

  • i didnt know this exists i thot u downshift..i ride and do jumps and i just dont point the bike up..what happens if u just pull in clutch and not with brake?

  • experiment a little and get experience.

  • lol man some times you really need to brake in the air

  • All credit goes to MotocrossGuru. This is the sample video.

  • Sim(yes)... aprenda a ler em portugues e leia a legenda, ok?

  • lol i never need to brake tap all u need to be is strong enouph to push the front end forword i only brake tap when i absolutly have to

  • well ya...but if u have full throttle and seat bounce lots of the time u half to tap the break

  • I'm not a dumbass i know how

  • ok if u dont know to pull in the cluch and tap the rear brake

then dont plin on getting far in your dirt bikeing currier

  • gud shit

  • you neglected to mention that this technique shouldn't be used unless absolutly nessesary, by stopping your rear wheel in the air you are killing you drive off of the landing, which is bad. it may only be tenths of a second each time but the for goons that do it often it will add up. instead i suggest the dv12 approach. just get way the hell up over the front of the bike.

  • great work.

  • Dat's cool.

  • i know all this, nothing new -_-

  • Congratulations! But you it does not make as the Bubba... hahaha!!!

(Parabens! Mas voce nao faz como o Bubba... hahaha!!!)

"Muita pretencao do cara falar que sabe fazer como o Bubba, se fosse o Carmichael... mas um peba desses... rsrsrs"

  • good lesson
