My favorite part is definitely how Cody, without a stick, came in and still made himself useful by blowing Jokinen out of the play. Enroth's timing between taking the helmet off and recovering for the save was incredible, he hadn't a moment to spare.
Buffalo will be rolling hot next season. Miller and Enroth will be great. Twerk the lines and you have a contender from the start. Enroth has proven himself to be more then a backup. All i gotta say is thank you pegula!! GO SABRES!!
the danman5000 is wrong but at the same time this is probably the first helmetless save since they started wearing masks, they never even get a chance to make a save w/o a helmet because the refs usually blow the whistle right away.
LMAO thats the biggest hit ever! HAHA You can just see Jokinens legs when hes flying lateral!! 00:49 ... "this could be the best helmetless save since..." STFU THis is the best HIT in the NHL since 1900!
One of the best saves I've seen in awhile. One of the best bodychecks I've seen in awhile. All in one nice 30 second highlight. What an effort by young Enroth and great support from a foward by McCormick. This one will be replayed for years to come.
The save was awesome but listening to Jeanneret react makes it ten times better. He's one of the best all time at calling games. Hats off to Enroth though, it was definitely one of the best saves all year.
Jonas Enroth deserved that gold medal in Junior world championship against Canada cos' they beat them in the first game but in the final he had his worst game and then they won..
@jipmip2332 youre such a dumbass i know you say that to get a rise out of people but i mean comon are you serious?? have you heard the boring ass homers that most teams have..RJ adds so much excitement, passion, and his love for the game and the Sabres draws people to the sport of hockey who dont watch much...im curious what announcer are you a fan of there thin dick?
For those not listening, the calls is "He Robbed him blind, Call a Cop." @coloradoavalanche19 and as for @thedanman5000 goalies in no way played for 80 years without helmets/masks. The NHL goaltenders switched to masks/helmets in the late 1940's. Also you have to consider that the speed of the game is MUCH greater now, shots are harder, and that save was incredibly impressive. I'd say it's certainly one of the top two best helmetless saves in the history of the NHL.
@coloradoavalanche19 Heh fair enough. Boy I must've been in a bad mood when writing those posts earlier, I sure sound like quite the asshole. Guess I'm just defensive because RJ is a legend and he takes a lot of unnecessary heat from people who don't listen to him all that frequently.
@aboricardo1992 Epic in that the guy had 3 swipes at it to push his leg in, a leg that is on a skate which is on ice. Oh and he wasn't braced up against the post either like taller goalies can easily do. Epic is an understatement.
@screecwe Don't get me wrong the save is really good and I understand where your coming from. But the deal was that he made that save without his helmet on yet the puck was nowhere near his head. Great save, with or without a helmet but imagine him making a Patrick Roy like glove save without a helmet on. Now that would be amazing
Holy shit, McCormick drilled Jokinen

Would be sick save if he save a high shot without a helmet like a big glove save or blocker. Seeing as it was with his pads, not quite as epic
