One of the saddest aspects about being "gay", is that at some point, as a kid, you might come to the conclusion, that in stories, and songs and even cartoons, that we are the boogy man, the red nose reindeer, the man in the car (even though we may be too young to drive at age 6) offering candy to others, Casper the "friendly" ghost. We are taught in church and school, that

being "gay" is in fact, society's worst nightmare for anyone to be and if that wasn't enough already, then we see the "Nazi" bullies making jokes about anyone, they even slightly suspect might be: different, odd, unique, anyone expressing anything short of the stereotype Str8 idea of what a male and female might be, get's it big time. Jay Brannan is a wonderful artist and this song, pretty much kinda sums it up, Not even Santa, would want cookies from people like "us"! :(
