@1993MovieMan It's the stereotype that the black guy always dies first in horror movies. So the fact that they killed off both black guys almost at the same time near the beginning looks pretty bad. Just saying.

@1993MovieMan Not exactly. He didn't step in front of the bullet to keep Timothy from getting shot. He got shot while getting Tomthy to safety. None the less he is still a hero, but what does that have to do with my earlier comment? I was talking about stereotypes not whether or not the "good black guy" was a hero.

@savagenature1 My point was since Skinwalkers was primarily an Action Film , an African-American guy got to die heroically ! In most straight Horror Films , African-Americans are portrayed as dope-addicted morons and cowards ! Which sounds more racist ?!?!?

It's actually spelled "Varek." Also, the flaws of the film should not be put on the director - Constantin Films forced a lot of rewrites and took out a lot of things. If you'd like to read the last draft of the script by the original writers, PM me.
