The problem with the u-turn is from what i've seen, no one has been extremely evil to anyone else. (Other than inside the teams themselves) Luke and Margie just wanted to defend the only team that was making an effort to be nice to them.

I would have thought Christie & Jodi got lucky by winning this leg because they got the earlier flight but Mark & Michael were on the same flight and had a lot of trouble with stacking the wood along with some other teams while they had no trouble at all, so yeah, they deserved the win.

@Sabhabboo Yeah, and there could also be the fact that Luke seems pretty close to his mom, and his frustration might be due to the fact that he feels like he lets Margie down when he does something that causes them to slow down...the same thing happened on season 13 with Dallas...he made a mistake that caused him and his mom to be eliminated, and he told Phil that he was mainly upset because he felt like he let his mom down

When Kris and Amanda was eliminated the other contestants said Luke was Jumping up with Joy. The following episode he said that "Strong men don't belong in this competition". It was a BITCH move. The main reason was to eliminate Kris and Amanda. They are just nasty people and they also lied to them about it too. Why else would they U-Turn a team thats in last place and not near Jamie and Care?

First of all you have to get to the clue box first, so your already ahead. The point is to try and remove teams from the race, therefore upping your chance of winning. If you don't want to take a chance on getting a u-turn, get there first. I always hate the babies that cry over the u-turn's.

@LoriLynntoo I know...that's the main reason Chip & Kim won TAR5...when it was down to the final 4 teams, they saw the Yield and knew right away that they had to knock out their strongest competition to keep their chances alive, so they used it on Colin & Christie, thus ensuring that the biggest threats to their victory would come in last and either be eliminated, or if it was an NEL, lose all their money and put them at a disadvantage

What is "karma"? It's a fake thing from a false religion. Margie & Luke are playing this game 100% correctly. As nice and Amanda & Kris are, they are a real threat to win it all, so why not knock them out?

That being said, I dislike U-Turns overall. You should always have control over your own destiny in TAR. But since U-Turns are a part of it, Margie & Luke played it right.
