WOW. That is AMAZING! I loved Simon from the beginning of AI. I don't watch it anymore. I think this years judge panel is not good. I stopped watching for a bit then watched season 8 then no more. Shows that Adam is a talented singer because he's still on Simon's mind!

I think reason why Simon wasnt as hiself in S09 was because Paula wasnt there and Adam whom he thought should've won, didnt... not to say Kris isnt talented, but America really got the wrong idea. They should just publicly announce that all IDOL contestants should follow Adams example while staying true to themselves, but use ADAM as a ROLE MODEL....As they did last year..Then the show may have a chance to survive, but instead they play down ADAM and his accomplishments. Thats why the show will die!

Simon was being sarcastic! In Simon's opinion (and he has made this known), Adam should have won AI S8. So, when asked who he thinks will win AI, he replied "Adam". It's to be taken as a joke...in a sarcastic, ironic kinda way. It seems like Simon's heart and soul has already left AI...throughout this whole season, he's not his usual caustic & lovable self. I'll miss him.

I just love Simon's honesty and consistency. He said in Jay Leno show last April that he thought Adam should have won last year based on over-all artistry. Judging by his comments to Adam last year, you would know that he has so much respect and admiration for him. He gave his one & only standing ovation to Adam. First time he urged people to vote for an idol contestant. Also, he did mention few idols as "star" but it was only Adam whom he said can become a "worldwide star."
