If youre reading this and you were here back when the Monkees had just released this song,I think we shared a part of time that was so beautiful It's almost impossible to describe, all I can come up with are beautiful memories and a life well blessed.I was there and I experienced this point of time and I didnt even realise those days would pass by like a speeding bullet,We were just plain lucky to have had this music and these memories In our life time.God Bless..
I loved the Monkees...especially Davy Jones. I was 4 years old when the Monkees teleivision show premiered in 1966, and my childhood was just a little bit brighter because of the music and the television show. The music has stood the test of time...I still listen to it until this day. Rest in Peace, Davy. Luv You Davy!
Omg I didn't know Davy died, until now.... That makes me just quite devastated, The Monkees was like my fav band and TV show when I was a kid and really reminds me of those great days.... RIP Davy and thank you <3
All my friends liked Davy but Peter was my fab. Saw him in 2006 at Ebay Live Meg Whitman had a thing for antique lunch boxes and the Monkeys was one that she collected. Davy performed live and he had all of us baby boomers dancin and laughin in the aisles. Here's to those wonderful memories Davy!
I never was a big Monkees fan -- but I really felt his loss. Davy... you were (are) a good Spirit and while you were here, you spread joy. and smiles. You were kind. and a good man.
RIP Davy Jones, you made me and near every other teen girl's heart beat an extra one!, now wondering looking back, did you have too much stress, wondering maybe why you had to go away till... thank you Davy for all the years of your greatness and a talent that was your life on and off the charts or stage ,your family n mates your horses are missin you cutey.
Love YOU.we all shared thank you hun!

We certainly lost a goodun.Davy and The Monkees were a big part of my childhood,I absolutely loved everything they did.Just wish I could have told that to Davy himself.R.I.P. mate,The World will be a whole lot emptier without you here.

I will always hold a place in my heart for you, and you will NEVER be forgotten. And my oh my, you were a cutie back in your day! I love you my Davy, Rest In Peace. I hope you are living in a perfect daydream up above <3
I believe Mickey had the lead vocal on a slight majority of their hit songs. However, this song is my personal favorite by The Monkees. Davy sang it perfectly!
"Srhandel " the day after the death of Davey Jones, Mickey Dolenz was interviewed on Channel 7 and he said something to the effect that Jones' heart attack may have been genetic because Jones' mother and father had died due to heart problems.
God Bless You Will be Well MIssed, From All Your Fans God Bless Yoy And Your Family. Davy Jones You Were My Favor it Monkee And The best Person I Ever Know As A Singer & Actor. RIP Davy. thanks for all of the nice childhood memories. Everyone else was stopping the war and the Monkees were singing about Pleasant Valley Sundays and Daydream Believers. At 51, I had an emergency open heart surgery after a checkup on my heart though I was an athlete, runner and cyclist all of my life. Please get your heart checked out as you get older.

when I first saw the Monkees I thought of one thing, 'fun'. Sadly as I became an adult I realised that life is not all day fun but a lot more serious. The Monkess did though make you realise that you don't have top take life so seriously all the time, there is time for fun. RIP Davy, thanks for making my Saturday mornings TV.
RIP Davy. A piece of my older cousin Mary's childhood is gone. I was little but I remember her bedroom plastered with posters of Davy all over her walls.
Thanks for adding the lyrics-but technically Davy doesn't say 'The shavin' razor's cold'. He's using his particular English slang 'ME shavin' raver's cold and it stings'.
Oh so sad we were going to see Davey Jones at the Walt Disney Flower Power Show like we do every year since 1998 But not this year Love u Davy Jones this year will be lonely with out u!!!

Monkees are not my generation but if I had a £ for every time I've danced to this tune at the end of a great night I would be super rich. Which sums it up for me - Davy was a great entertainer and was able to make so many people happy. RIP mate. Bet there is a big party up there tonight with this being belted out on a harp...
YOU WILL BE MISSED AND LOVED ........ YOU MAYBE GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN ..... I REMEBER WHEN I FIRST SEEN YOU I WENT CRAZY BECAUSE YOU KISSED MY CHEEK AND HUGED ME
If anyone does not like Daydream believer, they truly are a thin tin ear for music. It was a great feel good song and the remixes by famous people and pop bands of the 80s who redid the song are more than I can count. Davey you will be missed. Great contribution to the music world lovers! RIP
I was 11 or 12 years old, had the biggest crush on Davy Jones, Omg the memories I have about those days...I just could'nt believe it when I saw the headlines :(
Sitll in shock...just saw him on a talk show a few weeks ago and realized i still have that same crush on him that i had when i was a teen! I will miss him a lot! He was a very talented, sweet, funny, lovable guy who gave us his all! RIP, Davy! We will never forget you!
Saw the Monkees, The Grassroots, Hermans Hermits, and Gary Puckett and the Union Gap in the 90's - Best Concer t Ever! I swear Davy was singing directly to me! Thanks for the Great memories...RIP... Bummer.... Happy Times...
i think only the words thank Davey you., my first concert when i was a little guy and a cassete i listen to non stop as a kid even enoughwere it made my brother mad and had to buy head phones i still have that casset and this song in general is one of my favorites.R.I.P Davey Jones.

LOVED IT!!! It Was Kinda Not Neat To Like Them At This Time .... BUT, Me AND

Not Forget That Neil Diamond Wrote Some Songs!!! (Does It Get Any Better???)
PLUS . . . did not know until yesterday that in 1966, They Out Sold The Beatles and
The Stones COMBINED!!! It Was A Team Effort ... but, Davy added a wee bit more!!

If anyone does not like Daydream believer, they truly are a thin tin ear for music. It was a great feel good song and the remixes by famous people and pop bands of the 80s who redid the song are more than I can count. Davey you will be missed. Great contribution to the music world lovers! RIP
